After what happened last night I am having second thoughts about going to THAT office.How could a person be that confident,no scratch that,how can a person be so NARCISSISTIC?! Even though he is my boss (a very handsome one,I might add) he doesn't have the right to play with me as if I am one of his toys!
It's really hard to read him.He's like a closed book with a lock in it and nobody knows where the key to that lock is.His handsome stoic face gives you chills and it feels like he knows all about you and is silently mocking you for all the shit you have done in your life.
Deep in my thoughts I didn't realize that I'm almost 20 minutes late for office.
After running like a moron who is being chased by a group of aliens I finally reached my office panting like a dehydrated animal.
Almost half of the day is over yet there's no sign of my boss anywhere.
And at that moment I got a text from the devil himself a.k.a.my boss,it said "Come to my office",wait! he's back?
I was really not in the mood to face him after what happened yesterday,it's really not safe to be in the same room with him,ALONE!But if I don't want to die of starvation due of lack of money because I got fired,then I guess I have to go and meet the devil.*I wanna die*
The moment I went inside his office I was greeted by two people who were already sitting there on the couch,one was the devil himself and the other was a young woman whose appearance screamed PERFECT and RICH!Like literally!Starting from her looks to her fashion sense and those designer clothes and handbag everything was so classy that I felt like a mere peasant infront of her.
"Ms.Brown,you are finally here,meet Ms.Osborne,she'll be leading the group who'll be doing projects with X company from now on",my boss introduced her.
"Hello Ms.Osborne,I'm Kristi, Mr.Mikaelson's PA,it's nice to meet to",I said while extending my hand towards her.
"Hi Kristi,just call me Sasha,I'd appreciate that and nice to meet you too,heard a lot about you from your boss though",She said while giving me a sweet smile which looked too sweet to be be true and felt as if she's telling me to go die by hitting my head on a stone while slipping on a banana peel which she left for me.A chill ran down my spine.
*Maybe I'm thinking too much and imagining things,she doesn't look like someone who could kill,could she?"
"Umm...sure,Sasha",I replied with an awkward smile,now what? I have nothing more to say!!
"Ms.Brown from now onwards you'll be helping out Ms.Osborne on her projects and report everything back to me and I hope this will help you to learn more about the business world,am I clear?",the devil said,thanks for breaking the awkwardness,never been more thankful to him.
"Sure sir,I will give it my best",I said.I'm actually really thankful to him for giving me a chance to learn more things and for making me come out of my comfort zone.
"I'm looking forward to working with you Kristi!",there she goes again with too much of sweetness in her voice,which obviously sounds fake.:|
I'm gonna call her the "Fake Sugarfina",yep suits her perfectly.heh.
While I was busy giving her a nickname I didn't see her scooting closer to the devil,I was shocked when my brain finally came back to reality and saw the scene in front of it.She was almost sitting on his lap!!
"Oh Alex all you talk is about work,you never change huh!Ever since we were kids you have been so serious and aloof",she said in a sickly sweet voice with a pout on her face.wow.
So they have known each other from a long time back.Are they dating?!
"Sasha you know how serious I am about work but you are saying as if we have never done fun things together and it looks I always bore you",the devil said but that son of a biscuit had a genuine sweet smile on his face.What?He can smile?
"Ok fine I'll take you somewhere today,I'm sure you'll love it and you'll know how fun I am", Now I'm confused,are they freaking flirting in front of me?Isn't this the guy who barged into my house yesterday and made me cancel my date? And now he's flirting with another girl infront of me!Are all rich people like this?An asshole?
"Is that a date?!Haha just kidding,I can't wait to go out tonight! What should I wear?Will you help me in choosing out my outfit?I know you won't say no,you always help me out!",She said while clapping her hands and bouncing up and down on the couch like a kid who is excited to go to the amusement park with her pretty little boyfriend whom she just met yesterday in her kindergarten.Had no idea that classy lady could turn into a cheesy kid infront of this devil.
After I realized that they totally forgot I was there,I cleared my throat to let those lovebirds know I still exist and that their flirting is making me uncomfortable and nauseated.
"Oh Kristi you are still here? We are so sorry for keeping you here,you can leave",that fake sugarfina said in her fake sweet voice.
I nodded and left without a word with my broken heart.Why broken heart you ask? Well its because a teeny tiny part of my heart hoped that all those things which the devil told was true and that I actually meant something to him.Well now you see how it went and why I didn't want to get involved with him.
