When the noodles were served Sasuke was honestly excited to dig in to experience the ramen.
The soup of the ramen glistened from the reflecting light inside the restaurant. There was the finely chopped onions sprinkled next to the pieces of chopped pork.
Along with an split opened egg lay onto the noodles. Sasuke snapped apart the wooden chopstick and begin to taste the noodles.
He found the noodle having a delicate balance of firmness mixed with softness. Making the noodles really springy.
When he finished the bowl of noodles he glanced to his right side. Sasuke saw that Naruto is already onto his fifth bowl of ramen.
"Haha," Sasuke shake his head at this familiar scene from the anime, "slow down Naruto. It's not like I can't pay for everything."
Honestly if he wasn't the one who inherited the clan's assets then Sasuke would really not be able to pay for all the noodles Naruto eat in the future.
Seeing how happy Naruto is eating Sasuke thought to himself, 'How nice if I can also learn to make noodles.'
After Naruto finished eating his last bowl of noodles he started rubbing his full belly. "I'm really full now," he said with savor.
"Idiot! Don't eat so much if you're already so full," Sasuke teased him as took out money to pay the bills.
Sighing to himself as he looked at his empty wallet after paying for all the food. 'I hope I don't go broke if I keep feeding this guy,' taking in a deep breathe.
The duo walked and talked as they head away from Ramen Ichiraku. Mostly Sasuke listened to Naruto bragging about how he's going to be a great ninja.
At an intersection between the streets Sasuke said goodbye to Naruto as they need to go different directions.
"Thanks Sasuke-san for everything and making me your friend," Naruto gives a foolish smile as he waves goodbye running towards home.
Sasuke also waves back at him in farewell, "That idiot."
Nonchalantly Sasuke walked back to his apartment. As he was walking he stared ahead at the glowing half moon which seems to smiling back at him.
The clouds were covering the stars behind. He could feel the dark clouds themselves like a soft blanket over the sky.
The next morning Sasuke woke up and quickly closed the roaring alarm clock. The sunlight rushed into his room.
Getting dressed and prepared he headed for the kitchen to prepare a simple breakfast. Sitting down to eat his toast he opened to check for anything new in the chat group.
Since he uploaded the two anime he hasn't decided to check at all. Deciding it was best to give the guys some time to digest all the news about their futures.
