Chapter 23
I felt my face burning as I tried to cover myself. I contemplated running back to my car and starving for the rest of the day but someone pushed a hand in my direction and I looked up to see that the good-looking man was holding his jacket out for me.
"Thanks."
I quickly put his jacket on and zipped it but it was huge. You could barely see my fingertips.
"I'm Harry." he smiled.
"Kehlani."
"Nice meeting you Kehlani," he rubbed the back of his neck shyly " I hope we meet again." Then he left after giving me a nod.
Harry's coat was nice and comfy and it was warm too and I could slowly feel my body getting warmer. I realised I looked like an idiot just stood there and staring into space, so I got all the groceries and pet food I needed and went to the checkout point.
The woman behind the counter gave me a smile that had a hidden meaning and glanced at what I was wearing and then back at me. I realised that she must've thought it was my boyfriend's or someone that I was romantically involved with.
I looked down and blushed and grabbed everything and made a dash out of the supermarket once I had paid.
The thought of me and Harry being together didn't revolt me.
Honestly, it took my mind off Liam and that was something I was glad about because in the last 6 months or since October if you count the time that Liam and I were together, then he was the only thing that was on my mind. He was my last thought before I fell asleep, my first thought when I woke up and he was also in most of my thoughts during the day.
So, if Harry would help take my mind off Liam then I'd gladly try to pursue a relationship with him whether it was friendly or romantically.
