Even though this may seem like a tiring and tedious task, however Si Chen felt that this was especially interesting, because every single business he had currently invested in all had their differences, and require different strategies.
And as for the recipe making, it would be his first time diving into the desserts section, so it was a new experience to him.
Although he had the F&B expertise skill behind him, he still needed to determine which type of desserts he wanted to go for.
After searching the internet, he chose the classic Cheesecake, and other desserts that paired well with coffee, such as the Vanilla Glaze Mini Baked Donuts, and Chocolate Sesame Cookies.
He mentally recorded all the information within his mind, and get to work on modifying and enhancing them.
Logically, it would be impossible for someone to do as what Si Chen was doing, without proper research, and trial and experiment.
But the F&B Expertise skill, along with his Wisdom attribute, were meant to defy this logic.
His few days after this was to study for the High School Exam, enhancing and creating new recipes, and learning Art & Design along with F&B knowledge.
He also did not forget to slack down on his physical exerciser, to improve his physical constitution.
The Owner of OnShop had not called him yet, and Si Chen was wondering if they wanted to reject the deal.
He focussed on his thoughts back on studying, and about an hour later, a call came.
Seeing that it was from Chen Yang, the owner of OnShop, he halted his learning and picked up the phone.
"Hey, Chen Yang. Why have you taken so long to call? Have you made a decision on the terms that I have given to you yet?" Si Chen inquired.
"Yeah. We have discussed and already agreed to your deal. And as for why we had taken so long…it was because a few of my co-partners had expressed their willingness to completely sell of their portions of their shares, and this had incurred a slight argument between us." Chen Yang bitterly smile and answered.
Si Chen lightly nodded his head in understanding. To sell of all their shares could be construed to be washing their hands of the website.
Those co-partners were probably frightened by the deficits in profit, and thought that they was no more hope for it, which was why they wanted to back out of it to minimize their losses.
This drew a slight smile from Si Chen. It was best if they decided to all sell of their shares, because this meant that he would possess a greater percentage of the shares, and a greater percentage of the benefits when OnShop gets on fire.
"Okay. When will you be free to meet up and further talk about our business deal?" Si Chen calmly asked.
"Our guys are free in the tomorrow." Chen Yang promptly replied.
"Then let's meet at the café which we had visited the last time." Si Chen suggested.
"Okay."
After they got they confirmed their meet-up destination, he hung up the call and yet again focused on his studies.
Coincidentally, the new school term was beginning the next day.
Xiao Meng was already packing her books into her school back for the new school term, while Si Chen was…studying.
One day passed quickly, and Si Chen woke up at his usual time, early in the morning, and he saw that there was some movement within the apartment.
Si Chen's face turned strange, as he remembered that the apartment was usually quiet as this period of time. That was, until he saw Xiao Meng donning her school attire with her backpack placed beside her.
It was the first day of school today.
He abruptly realized as a look of realization flashed past his face. Even with his enhanced memory, he could even forget that school was starting.
'Everybody makes mistakes.' He comforted himself.
"Xiao Meng, are you ready for school?" Si Chen offhandedly asked while went to the kitchen to prepare some simple breakfast for her.
"Yeah. I packed all my books inside my book yesterday." Xiao Meng nodded her head, and then tilted her head and asked, "Big brother, why are you not wearing your school uniform? Are you not going to school today?"
While Si Chen was cooking, he casually answered, "I applied of leave from the principal himself because I have something on."
Xiao Meng looked towards Si Chen with in doubt, but did not say anything.
A few minutes later, he brought the breakfast to the table, and Xiao Meng quietly sat there and ate.
When she was done, and was getting ready to leave, Xiao Meng abruptly turned her head back and recalled something, "Big brother, I thought that Sister Yang Ran also had school at Oakwood High School? Why hasn't she waken up yet?"
Si Chen looked towards Yang Ran's room that was still kept shut, and he nonchalantly replied, "She probably is preparing for school right now. There is no need to worry about her, she can make her own way there."
As he said that, he urged Xiao Meng out of the house.
That pig Yang Ran was most likely still sleeping. It won't be surprising even if she goes to school late. It was not his problem, anyways.
For the first day of school, Si Chen personally brought Xiao Meng to the Oakwood High School, and sent her off at the entrance of the school with a warm smile on his face.
Xiao Meng gave him a goodbye hug, before she happily skipped to school with alacrity.
Staring at her fading silhouette, Si Chen felt as though he was a parent sending off his child to school, with that slight reluctance to part with her.
"Could I get your number please?" A gentle voice suddenly interrupted him from his thoughts, and he turned his head to see a girl dressed in the Oakwood School's uniform staring at him with a glimmer of expectation in his heart.
Si Chen was startled by this unexpected question, when he heard the slight chattering of a bunch of girls who were grouped together behind her.
"He is so handsome! Have you seen him before?"
"Do you think he studies in our school? I hope it does, because that means that I could probably see him again!"
"Hey, I feel that my heart is melting right now after seeing his face! Oh my!"
"…."
Si Chen was rendered speechless by this, as he wondered to himself, 'Am I really that handsome right now?'
But still, he politely rejected the girl asking for his number, and then swiftly left the school.

In café, a group of around 10 various middle-aged man sat together around multiple tables. The atmosphere was rather awkward and tense, as a portion of the men was silent, while the other portion simply glared at those who were silent.
The waiter at the café felt quite uncomfortable as she looked at this scene from the corner of her eyes.
Suddenly, the door opened, and a youth walked into the café.
He was tall and lean, his fit muscles slightly showing through his plain white t-shirt. His nose was sharp, and his sword-shaped eyebrows coupled by his deep and vast eyes were pleasing to the eyes.
His every step was slow and unhurried, like he was taking a scroll in the park, but held that faint sense of imposingness.
"Are you all co-partners of the OnShop website?" The youth slightly parted his lips and questioned in a languid manner.
