The day of the Winter Games finally arrived and the Colosseum -fully restored after the previous damage done by the attack by Endo a few weeks prior- was ready for the occasion. The streets were filled with individuals from all over the continent who were excited to watch the upcoming event.

The contestants were assembled at the entrance of the Colosseum a few hours before the spectators were allowed to enter and were met by the Council of Mages and a few dignitaries from the other nations.
"We are pleased to welcome you all to this prestigious event today. The Council of Mages congratulate you for making it this far from your respective qualifiers from your Academies," which was met by an applause from the contestants and followed shortly afterwards by silence.
