Soon after the attack by the mysterious person on Endo at the Colosseum, guards were positioned at every pathway and entrance throughout Pardour; all except one particular entrance.
This was a drain passage that connected to the river east to the border of Pardour and was left abandoned over 200 years ago.
Oblivious to everyone, the drain line was still flowing and had a series of meanders as water flowed effortlessly throughout the drain until it reached a point where it dropped from an edge.
A few minutes after the attack, a white snake with a purple insignia on its back appeared out of the water onto the ground.
As soon as it got on the dry ground, the insignia started glowing brightly and it hissed as it did so.
Suddenly, the snake's back split open and a hand appeared out of it; another hand appeared as well and they both pushed a body out of the snake.
The figure was a bit deformed, burnt and scaly as well -as it was covered in slime as well.
The figure then cried in pain as it crawled to a corner close to the entrance of the drain passage. As it did, it rested and panted as its body slowly started reconstructing itself.
It took over an hour for the process to be completed and the figure was no other than Endo.
He then punched the ground and yelled, "That damn brat!! He ruined my chance to kill that vampire and everyone else! But I'll get my chance, I swear!!"
As soon as he said this, a figure appeared in front of him wearing a black cloak with gold hemming and two red chiral dragon symbols on each side of the cloak.
"It seems we have a problem here," the individual said as he approached the struggling Endo -who was still treating his wounds and recovering from the previous attack.
The individual then crouched close to Endo's face and said in a disappointed time, "I handed the entire nation to you on a silver platter and you couldn't even get rid of two brats. Pathetic!"
Endo then responded, "You underestimated those kids. They're a lot stronger than you gave them credit for! And besides, I was taken aback by that individual you sent earlier on."
He then continued, "Also, the deal was I get to help you take over Pardour by eliminating the Emperor and in return, I get my revenge on the vampire brat and a new power!"
The figure got up and responded, "And you failed that task, so you don't get any."
Endo scoffed and retorted, "Now let's see how you'll get another chance like this without me!!"
The figure removed the hood over his head, revealing an old man with a red scar on his forehead.
He then looked at Endo with a gaze full of anger and pure evil and said, "You dare threaten me, you snake?! And be glad that I gave you an enhancement to your snake abilities. Otherwise, you would have been caught easily by the guards!!"
The look he gave to Endo was so penetrating that it made Endo freeze in fear.
He then broke out of his frozen state and asked mockingly, "Well, then….Omar. What is the next step to your 'master plan'?"
Omar then smirked and said, "We proceed as the Master wants to. Our main objective is to get rid of the Emperor before my people can invade the city."
"Until then, you need to leave this city as soon as possible before you're discovered. Like you said the last time, it'll take a week before you're fully recovered from using your Blood Warping Seal Technique."
Endo just sat down in silence, realizing that what Omar said was true and hated that it was such.
As Omar began to leave, he turned back and said to Endo, "And as for that mysterious individual that burned you, I'm pretty sure you have an idea on who it is; if not, then soon you will."
"Also, you have work to do, so get ready. I'll meet you at the vantage point in two days' time. Be sure to make it."
