*This is a flashback on when Dante and his team went to Planitia of Cerulean, a vast island off the coast of Morigon Valley, near the borders of Ravenbrook and Lavernfrut, a small fishing community inhabited by humans and fishmen.*
"Alright, kids!! Today's training will be intense, so I need you all to be your absolute best!!," Dante called out to his students early in the morning.
This woke up his students who were still asleep in their rooms belonging to a cabin they rented for the stay.
"Dang it, Sensei!! It's way too early for this!!," Jason whined as he yawned and rubbed his eyes at the entrance of his cabin room.
"I agree, Sensei. This does seem a bit too extreme, even for me," an awake but still sleepy Vincent added.
Dante did not specifically expect this sort of mood from his students, but he had an idea.
"Oh well," he shrugged, "I was planning for us to meet the Imperial Dragon later after but it seems you guys are tired, so probably next time."
That quickly excited the kids -even Vincent- and Maki and Jason quickly rushed towards Dante, holding him and saying, "You must take us to see the Imperial Dragon! Pretty please, Sensei?!"
Dante then cleared his throat and said, "Well, it seems we all are interested in seeing this Dragon, are we?," he asked with the kids except Vincent nodded their heads furiously.
He then clapped his hands and said, "Alright!! Then training begins now!!"
