Three months had passed, and winter had arrived, filling the entire landscape with snow and icy terrains emerged throughout the northern part of Amberland.
Most of the Knight Academies had closed for the remainder of the year in preparation for the Amberlandian Winter Games, which was set to begin in about four days.
All the Five Great Empires had assigned their strongest contestants to participate in the competition and the individuals involved were talented in their own right.
Since the Five Great Empires were participating in the Winter Games, there were about five teams of fifteen individuals who would contest for the grand prize.
The venue for the competition was Pardour, as it was the largest and most prestigious capital in Amberland. As such, many people and monster-folk from the other Empires and several towns in Ravenbrook traveled a few days before the start of the tournament in anticipation for an exciting tournament.
