Jason, Maki and Vincent were finally inside the abandoned tower and they were struck in awe about the state of the room.
Due to the lack of maintenance for centuries, the presence of the room was filled with cobwebs and dust on every surface, with the squeaking noises of rats faintly but visibly audible to their hearing, in addition to the various array of books opened and scattered across the floor.
The triad were scouting throughout the tower, looking for valuables and other items that were of interest, and Maki called Jason and Vincent to her.
"Look, I found this!!," she said, pointing to the table in front of her a scroll that was covered with cobwebs and had a distinctive black insignia on it.
Vincent dusted the scroll -which led to all of the them coughing because of the dust- and examined the insignia carefully.
