"At least my hunch about this mage was right. All that is left is to find out what he actually is and who he may be working for," Vincent said to himself after he used his Sentiel Vision to uncover Omar's secret.
No one else but Vincent knew about Omar's hidden spell and his true figure, but Vincent did not risk telling anyone; due to the fact that Omar might not be the only double-crosser in the room.
"Now, then…," Claudius began speaking, "…what do we do about the Mithril Invaders then? Because based on what Haruka just told us now, they might begin or probably have started to move towards Ravenbrook already."
"My father will provide soldiers to fight alongside you, my lord. At least it will be as he paid you for allowing me to join your Academy in the first place," Vincent said.
Claudius nodded and said, "I appreciate the generosity from your nation, but please, see this chance given to you as a gift. The entirety of Ravenbrook and Pardour are pleased to accept you as our student and royal guest."
He then had a serious look and said, "Now the main reason why I called the three of you here..," referring to Maki, Principal Florence and Vincent.
Omar was given permission to speak on behalf of Claudius concerning Jason and his new identity.
"We have discovered that Jason Howler has..a particular gift, I must say."
"However, per the rules of Ravenbrook, no Werewolf is allowed in the kingdom under any circumstances whatsoever."
Dante was dumbstruck by the words Omar uttered concerning Jason's fate and so was everyone in the room except Omar himself, who seemed pleased with the judgment.

Zhu Li was not a Werewolf however, but a special breed of humanoid canids known as Jackals, which are directly related to Werewolves but less hairier and bloodlusted.

Maki then stood in silence, shaking in fear due to what Emperor Claudius just told them.
Vincent was lost in thought, clenching his fist to suppress his anger knowing that his new friend might end up dying because of the bad relationship Humans and Werewolves have had for centuries and the law that was made for that situation.
Dante -despite his anger- then responded, "My lord, will all due respect, but you cannot eliminate Jason because of that law. It's unnecessary and backwards."
Claudius, in his disappointed yet calm demeanor, then said, "I understand the bond you and that young lady here has with him. Nonetheless, the law strictly requires his execution. Who knows what may happen in the near future if he aligns with his nation."
Just as Vincent was about to speak in rage, Principal Florence interjected and said, "My lord, on account of the history Ravenbrook has with Houndshear, it would be unwise to enact this law on a 12-year old."
"Also, based on his historical records, he was born on this land, so that makes him a citizen of Pardour no matter what. So please my liege, reconsider your decision."
As Omar was about to intervene, Claudius' wife Miranda also spoke, "My dear, please do not make this poor boy suffer for the mistakes of the past."
"I know you are a wise ruler and always loved the people and this nation."
"So I ask that you reconsider this judgement and understand that Marcells will take your place in the near future," she ended close to tears which moved Claudius.
He then took her hand and kissed it, saying, "As long as I am Emperor and I have you by my side, I would always see what is best for Pardour and Ravenbrook."
Claudius then looked at Maki and Vincent and said, "I have decided to pardon Jason Howler and rescind his execution."
This was much to the joy of both Knight Academy prospects and everyone else but Omar, who was infuriated by the decision.
As such, he left the room in no haste which made everyone surprised but not Vincent.
After a while, Claudius then got up and said, "I will relay all the information concerning our plan to defend against the Mithril Invaders' impending attack and the necessary steps to ensure we do not suffer defeat."
"I thank you all for answering my request, and now, this meeting is now dismissed."
Miranda and Haruka were escorted back to her residence by a few guards and the remaining Council of Mages left the room in an instant.
Principal Florence and her escorts also left the meeting room as well.
Vincent then was about to leave, when Claudius said, "I understand your emotions right now and I agree. This law speaks I'll of the legacy of Pardour and I will do everything within my power to change it."
"In the meantime, I suggest you prepare for the Amberlandian Winter Games, young Vincent, alongside your new teammates."
The young vampire then nodded in response and levitated out of the compound.
As he was escorted back to his palace, he looked back at Dante and said, "I would make sure that Jason Howler sees no harm at all and he is a member of Pardour."
"Speaking of which, where is Jason?," Dante asked, to which Maki replied, "He told me he would go home early to see his mother and check up on her."
"Alright then. I'll head back and recover. Take care," Dante said as he headed back home.
