[The events in chapter 1-6 took place 3 years ago]
"Roooaaarrr!" a ground shaking roar was let out from my right. My body that was now 4 years old was able to run, jump, swim and do lots of other things that my 11 month old body couldn't. I teleported out of the massive Blue lion's shadow without being noticed and drew my short sword. I sent mana into my sword as it burst into flames as I used wind magic to jump above the lions back. I then created a panel of air on my feet as I jumped at the speed of sound toward the beast that towered easily over 30 feet. I plunged my sword into it's nape and twisted it ninety degrees before landing onto the beast sending it crashing to the ground creating a crater beneath it. The beast roared in pain as it's nape began to catch fire and burn. The beasts soul and mana was sucked into my body as the light disappeared from it's eyes. "Whew." I said to my self as I removed my sword dripping with blood. "What a breath taking spectacle, as expected from my lord." Zack said with sincerity. Using the new skill I created by myself 'mana sense' I tracked Zack's mana from his voice to his location. Instantly teleporting there Zack had a look of pride in his eyes. "Excellent as always my lord. How is the skill that your working on coming along?" Zack asked. I was currently working on three different skills. Firstly, I was learning to manipulate my shadow magic within my body without releasing my aura and making it into a sword. Secondly, I was practising the plant magic spell 'unbreakable bind' and the light magic spell 'infinite light whips'. These were spells that Sylvia had left me before dying.
"My lord I believe that you have enough skill now to successfully kill the enemy noble. You already have 50 human souls collected. If you go now to the enemy city you should be able to kill his guards and the noble himself. They number 60 and are not at your skill level." Zack said. "Okay, i'll go but let me get ready first okay?" I said. "Of course." Zack replied. I teleported back to the house and opened the door. I heard footsteps of a child running towards me. "Big brother, Welcome home." the now two year old Laura said to me. I bent down and patted her head. "Yeah, i'm home." I said. I walked into my room and changed into some light leather armour that I had painted black. The armour had a hood, cape and other necessities for hiding my identity. I also used sound mana arts which is a 'mutated' (when two or more elemental arts are combined) mana art of earth and lighting. Mana arts of lighting represents (energy). To have a voice changer and masker. I put on my hood and sheathed my pure white sword. As I walked out of my room my mother and father were waiting at the door with Laura as they asked were I was going. I answered saying I was testing out this suit and would be back soon. I walked out of the door and used wind magic to fly up above the clouds before taking off at rocket speed with no sound towards the east. The nobles stronghold was the military base as well as the Nobles housing estate. Zack had informed me that he would not help me in this mission unless I was going to die for sure. The Nobles actually disagree with the current war but are being suppressed by the lord of the domain. Zack had told me lots of information on the noble and his abilities as well as the layout of the building. The noble was not a demon lord or hero but could use fire, water, lighting and earth elemental arts as well as some limited sword arts. I had perfected my skills intent erasure and evolved it into a new skill called 'coma state'. Skills in this world can be evolved if there is the necessary skill met to improve a mastered skill. I had also evolved shadow movement into two new skills, 'shadow transport' and 'infinite shadowed domain'. When a skill evolves, the old skills abilities stay with the evolved skill as well.
As I came to a stop above the Lords domain I realised I was going to meet Jasmine again soon. With that thought in mind I new i had no option but to live through this mission. I activated coma state and teleported into a small opening next to the building. I peeked through a window and looked inside the building, it looked Roman with pillars inside and guards inside. I placed my hand into the shadow next to me and sucked a guard into my shadow and summoned him in front of me. Before he could react I had shoved my mana reinforced white blade through his neck and used sound magic to drown out the sound. Crying and screaming his soul sucked into my sword and then into my body. His body now limp I shoved him into the corner of the building. I stepped into the shadow and moved behind a trio of guards inside. Instantly I set up a barrier of sound magic making the space mute. The soldiers realised they were in danger and spun around only to see a black blur rush behind them again. The guard on the left was cut swiftly in half with a look of disbelief and shock on his face. The guard in the middle had drawn his sword and swung down into the black blur only to be met with thin air. The guards knees gave out as he fell to the ground. I swiftly made my move decapitating him quickly before a blade of wind sliced the last guard in half. Instantly releasing the sound barrier I used the shadows to kill a total of 20 guards including the previously killed guards.
My soul count had now gone up to 70/100. I reached the guards quarters were the night shift guards were sleeping. I killed another 25 guards in their sleep before making my way to the nobles chambers. My soul count was at 95/100 and I was itching to become a True Demon Lord. I opened the huge wooden door slightly wish set the guards alert. The Noble was sitting on his chair telling them to investigate it. My hearing had increased as well as my sensitivity to mana thanks to the elf changes my body underwent. I removed my invisibility spell I had created by literally manipulating shadows and killed all the remaining 15 guards in an instant by using the shadow bullet spell. I could now create up to 25 shadow bullets that shoot at high speeds simultaneously. The noble stood up trying to intimidate me. I removed my suppressor and used my conquers' haki to exert my presence. This was also a message to all the other nobles saying that the war was over. They never offended our domain again. "W-w-what do you want??!" The noble said trembling. I remembered a crucial thing that Sylvia said. "The people who took us where of the enemies nobles orders." My eyes seethed a deathly purple glow as the room lost all colour except purple. This was a haki ability used to intimidate enemies and make them lose consciousness. I cut off his arms and watched him scream in pain and cry. I felt a surge of pleasure when doing this as I realised I was going to kill him without delivering him to Lord Sinclare. When I had asked Zack if there was such a thing as healing magic he said that it is very limited and can only be learned instead of combat magic. I realised that with my talent and knowledge of anatomy it may be possible to reverse engineer a spell I had created called 'cellular decay'. I began to visualise a spell that would heal wounds and speed up cellular regrowth. I thought of a name for such spell and I came up with 'cellular regeneration'. The bleeding stopped as I clogged his cells together in his arms and tied him up. I used wind magic to fly out of the enemies domain once I had left the mansion. I was now on Lord Sinclare's front porch when he came out to see what the maids where gasping about. He saw me walking towards him with the enemy noble barely alive. I chucked the prisoner at the Lords feet. Releasing a slight haki presence I said "My name is Demon Lord Alex. I am about to become a True Demon Lord and have brought you the enemy. I hope we can get along." "Sure!" Said the Lord without showing the slightest bit of disgust at how i'd handled the prisoner. "Look forward to working with you."
