This is my new fantasy romance short story. If you liked the first chapter, please tell me to continue. I plan to make this into at least 20 chapters. I update this story on weekends only not during the week. However, If I get a certain amount of votes and comments and reads, and if I feel like it, I will update during the week.
So, yeah, here it goes. If you see any mistake, just tell me, and I'll edit it.
The New Dawn
Prologue
On a planet far away, lived thousands of civilizations. Out of these thousands of civilizations, Five of them came out of hiding and conquered them all. Now only five remained. These great civilizations were the Morloc Cilivization, the Kasper Civilization, the Quintinius Civilization, the Ampelius Civilization, and the Dragan Civilization.
Each of them had great power. Power to make every man cry. However, with great power came temptation.
City Council of Morloc Civilization
16 Years Ago
"Sven, we don't need to do this!" A man said.
"Bjarne, we do. They killed my brother, our king. They need to pay!!!" Sven yelled.
Bjarne replied. "Revenge for your brother is just an excuse to have war, Sven. We have been at peace for years. You can't just go to war. The other civilizations will end their alliance. This planet will go into chaos."
"That's a price; I'm willing to take the risk to avenge my brother. Plus, it's the perfect excuse to conquer the other nations."
"Ok, say, we do go into war and win; the other civilization will never surrender. They would rather burn down their land, and kill themselves, then be slaves to you. The planet will be destroyed." Bjarne looked at his friend's face. He was not backing down. He needed to go into war.
"You don't think I know that. But I can't back down when they killed him. "
"There is no way to convince you, is there?" Bjarne asked.
"No, there is not my friend."
As Bjarne started walking away, he turned back. "Let them witness I tried, my friend. If this comes back to haunt you, one day, it will be on your head."
"I know!" Sven said looking down.
I need to warn them. Bjarne thought.
A Few Hours Later
At the Kasper Civilization
A Meeting was occurring between the Kasper civilization, the Quintinius Civiliation, the Ampelius Civilization, the Dragan Civilization, and Bjarne.
Murmurs ran around the table.
Some were saying, "He wants to what?"
"That's crazy!"
"No way!"
"Silence!! Everyone!!" A woman yelled.
The woman asked. "Is it true? Bjarne."
"Yes, I had a meeting with him a few hours ago!" He said. "You need to prepare for war. And if we don't win this war, we need to send our young ones, at least five, to another planet, to live on for us and fight the war in our steed if he kills us."
Stina rested her arm on the table. "And I suppose that you have already chosen the planet we will send them to."
"Yes, planet Earth, a new species is evolving there, called humans. Even though they will look the same as them, but they will be outcasts. However, they will be their hope when Sven discovers their planet."
"I agree that we should send them if we die."
Bjarne smiled. "Let's take a vote! Raise your hand if you agree with Bjarne's plan."
One by one, hands were raised. "I agree." "Me too." "I do too." And lastly, Stina raised her hand. "I agree as well."
"Well, then, in 16 days we will send the kids to Earth. Meeting adjourned."
16 Days Later
As Bjarne predicted, the war that Sven started devastated their planet all the way to their planet's core. The planet only had a couple minutes to survive. Lava erupted from the ground as the winds grew stronger and the water was made into tsunamis. The earthquakes became bigger and bigger.
Inside the Kasper castle, five spaceships were in a room. Each of them had a baby in them.
The leaders of the civilizations were talking to their baby for one last time. They were telling them their jobs and that they loved them.
Bjarne walked with his baby in his arm. "Torger, You will be their leader. You will lead them in their darkest hour. You will have a hard life with many obstacles to surpass. But I believe you will overcome them. And when you are in your darkest time, just think of me, I will be there to help you." A tear dropped from his eyes. "Just know that I love you." An earthquake happened.
Stina came to him and said, "It's time. Bjarne."
"I know. There's so much I want to say. I really love you." He said as he put a necklace around his neck and placed him in the spaceship. "Goodbye, my son!"
The five spaceships lifted up into the air and traveled to outer space.
Meanwhile at the same time in the Morloc Kingdom
A servant came to Sven. "My king, we have detected five spaceships in the outerspace, I believe they are the children of the leaders and Bjarne."
"What? Get my spaceships, we are leaving into outer space." And they left just like that. As soon as they got into outer space, their whole planet exploded into smithereens.
