The next day, Esther was working on her laptop, seated in her office. Her store had recently opened, and despite the positive feedback flooding in, there was a dark cloud looming. Someone was trying to smear her company's reputation, especially after she had taken the bold step of hiring three of the most controversial and banned artists in the industry.
Just then, her phone rang. It was the police, informing her that they wanted to speak with Anna regarding allegations of plagiarism.
Pressing the intercom, Esther called Julie into her office. "President Vritra," Julie greeted politely as she entered.
