Chereads / Intoxicatedd / Chapter 2 - 1.

Chapter 2 - 1.

Dominance.

It's quite a funny thing really, how much power someone can hold over you, how much your skin can burn with sinful desires, the addiction to a person... the intoxication with someone.

I allowed someone to own me, someone to take all my love and soul away, but that was a mistake.

Two years earlier.

(Meg's Pov.)

It's a rough Saturday, the rain is drenching everyone head to toe and the wind was burning my skin with ice, but what more can you expect from London. My feet we're dragging along the concrete ground as the rain carried on pummelling my vision, I was going to be so late to work. As I ran the last couple of blocks pulling my skirt down making sure it didn't rise up, I skidded into the building with a huff. My arms flicked the rain off as I walked up to reception with a short smile.

"Debbie." I spoke softly with a slight echo of the droplets of rain falling from my hair onto the ground below.

Debbie perked her head up and smiled softly, "Good morning Meg."

I smiled softly at her, she was such an early bird and it genuinely did cheer me up most of the time, "Could you bring me a cup of tea to my office?" I asked her softly patting down my clothes and clutching onto my hambag.

"Of course Meg, you look like you've had a rough one." She giggled softly getting out of her chair as I began to walk to the elevator and swivelled on my heels, "Tell me about it" I shouted out across the corridor, she giggled even more down the hall as I made my way to the elevator quickly checking my watch and shaking my head with a smile at how positive Debbie always was.

As I quickly skidded into my office I shrugged my coat off and dumped it on a hanger before slouching into the leather seat and releasing an exhausted breath of air out my lungs. It wasn't two minutes before Debbie ran in plopping a hot tea on my table before running off out the room to the printers, I gripped the scorching tea within my hands and opened up the Mac and started getting to work.

It wasn't a dream job but I worked hard to get where I am, extremely hard... And when I tell people who I am and what I do they just laugh in my face... Until they realise I'm serious, a twenty year old CEO. What do they say?,

'did she sleep her way?'

'i bet she's bankrupting the company!'

'gold digger'

Not one compliment.

But you see I worked hard to get here, I worked through sweat and tears just to get where I am, I started when I was sixteen leaving school earlier than most to start college then a two year course at university, I was the smartest person in my school at the age of sixteen, graduating with the oldest. Yeah it was weird but, I'm proud of where I am.

Not many at all can say they've accomplished so much.

My dream job was to own my own company, to be successful, to be worthy to be known of my hardworking attitude with life.

But one thing that separates me to the others is innocence, never have I kissed, looked at or been romantically involved with anyone, sure I've been to clubs and danced but that doesn't mean I've done anything... Erotic. I haven't had the time or place if I'm honest, I'm always working and tired, and I don't need distractions at all.

No distractions.

Then I'll be where I want to be.

Now.

Guess what, all that damn hard work paid off, but now I'm twenty two and lonely... Well mostly apart from my dog lilo. My life consists of work home work home work, and I'm tired.

I want some spice.

I need some intoxication.
