A few friends and I decided to go to a festival that was going on near the woods. The whole place was surrounded by a giant wall and giant gate that was painted yellow and orange, but the paint was worn out and chipped. There were lots of rides, giant bouncy houses, food stands, and booths.
The time is around 5-6 pm when we got there. The sky was clear however the sun was going down. All of us together was a number of about 6 maybe 7 people? We went to the bouncy houses and jumped around. Went inside a haunted house, and went on roller coasters. Ate kabobs that had steak and different vegetables. By the time we finished all of that the sky turned dark and it was about 8:30 pm. Lanterns lit the pathways between booths and food stands, and most of the rides we closed. Most of my friends had spilt up because of how big our groups was, so there were about 4 other people with me. Two of my friends were walking next to me as the other two were walking a little ahead, a guy and a girl. The girl was skipping and twirling around and went up to a balloon stand. as the rest of us were catching up she was handing the old guy in the stand her cash. the stand looked old. It was made of I think pine wood, and awning that was colored red and yellow, but very dusty and dark because it was further away from the lanterns. He started to hand her two balloons... 5 balloons... HOW MANY DID SHE BUY??
After he had handed all the balloons she bought, which took forever since he was handing it out one by one, she had around 15 of them in her hands. and the helium balloons were bigger than average size too. After he handed her the last balloon He had told her to be careful. We all started walking away and after we got further away from the old guys stand my friends hand started to rise higher than she had placed it. then she started floating in the air. The guy that was walking infront of me had grabbed onto her as I did too. He light brown hair was moving around like crazy even though she wasn't that high up and one of her balloons had flown away. She had started wining and almost crying. Me and her got into and argument to tell her to let go of a few so she wouldn't float away, that is when she started crying and yelling. We were further away from people, but people still looked back at us and the scene we were making. My other friend who was walking next to me awkwardly turned to them and apologized for the noise.
She had finally agreed but didn't talk to me. I sighed and we all started walking again with her further ahead than she was earlier because she was "super mad". We all then walked back to the giant gate to go home.
Somehow me and my guy friend that was walking infront of me got to my house and were walking towards the door. My house is on a slight hill and has a chicken coop to the left on the bottom of the small hill and behind the house. Infront of the house it has cars parked all lined up, and some in the opened side garage. It was really late and I am assuming it is around 11 pm?
My friend and I were walking to the front door, which is on the left side of the house, when we saw two people in a car trying to hot wire the car because they lost the keys... I think is what they had said.
"Yo what's up with you guys? you look like you just saw a ghost, and your not even doing it right... your fumbling" my guy friend had said to them walking closer to help them out.
"Y-you guys gotta get out of here before they get you too." One of the guys had said. He was wearing round metal framed glasses, had blond hair, and was wearing a red flannel with tan pants.
"What why?" my friend asked still looking at the wires trying to start up the car.
"T-there's-s these monsters h-here. yo- you gotta get out of here before they... eat you too" his voice was really shakey and eyes were still wide from shock. His friend in the passenger seat stayed silent with his head down.
"they..." the guy in the passenger seat had started but was really quiet. "They looked like kangaroos.. so my girlfriend went up to it and it.. ate her and ran off... we came here from the woods down there to get a car and drive away..." He slightly pointed down behind the chicken coops and more down the hill where they supposedly came from.
"Their eyes were glowing bright blood red and they had sharp teeth like a wolf..." The other guy stated.
The car engine then started running. "There you guys go. we can handle ourselves. If what you're saying is true then get out of here." My friend stated looking over the car down the hill driveway. His eyes widen and his skin turns pale.
"what- what's wrong?" I asked looking in the same direction. That's when I saw a big kangaroo, its mouth open with blood slowly dripping down the sides, teeth and claws as sharp as knifes, and eyes glowing bright blood red. The kangaroo looked almost 2 meters tall.
It then started charging towards us. My friend and I sprinted away. I ran around the the car the guys were in and slid under a truck that was low to the ground, but enough for me to fit underneath it. My friend ran to the back of the station wagon the other guys were in and hid behind it. The two guys in the front started freaking out, and the guy in the driver seat was struggling closing the door and putting the car into drive. The kangaroo got close to the station wagon and jump forward towards the door of the driver side causing the door to crush under neath its feet. It towered over the small car, so it back away slowly. The guys in the car were hyperventilating and sobbing trying to keep quiet. it then stopped in its tracks and bent down and turned it head really fast facing towards the two boys inside the car.
It ripped the guy out of the driver's seat and started tairing him apart and eating him. The guy in the other seat opened the door frantically and started running down the driveway, tripping over his feet, and barely making it down the hill.
The kangaroo bolts after the guy down the hill and grabs him before making its' way into the woods around my house. His screams are loud but faint as they get farther away.
With the car now abandoned, my friend get out from behind the car looks around with wide eyes and lets out a shakey breath. He quickly gets into the car and I get out from under the truck.
"hey... umm... are you okay?" I asked quietly because I don't know if there are any other kangaroos out there. "If you drive down that way you are going the same direction as the kangaroo... Is it safe?" I said looking in the direction it had left.
"I- I don't really know... it's safer for us to separate in case one of us doesn't make it." He then lets out a shakey breath as his hands tighten on the steering wheel, looking forward. He doesn't face me once and puts the car into drive slowly and then driving down the drive way.
I sigh. 'Man... things couldn't get worse' I look around to make sure nothing is close to me before I make my way to one of the cars. It is a big black truck/SUV Chevy that was parked next to the hill where the woods was atop.
The key was inside of the car, thankfully, and in the cup holder. before I turned on the lights and started the car I looked and listened around to see if there were anymore kangaroos in the area... silent.
I started the car and drove down the hill driveway pretty fast, but made sure to stay on the rode without falling off the hill. Before I turned the corner to continue I heard a scream that went though the windows of the car. My eyes widen because it was coming from my exit. I drive faster to get away but i see the same station wagon my friend took. I slowly stop and look around. There are two streaks of blood that go off in different directions, and no kangaroos. But i see a body lean up against the car trying to get in to escape. The guy has blood though his shirt and down his neck and his black hair a mess... black hair..? 'Shit' That guy is my friend. I quickly run out of the car and go up to him and help him up. He looks at me with a dead look in his widened eyes. He slowly looks up at me.
His neck had giant scratches down his neck and to his shoulders. Blood dripped down from the side of his head ad his nose looked broken. Parts of his body had purple blotches that spread around his face and down his arms. Face pale and his body shakey.
"You g-gotta get out of h-here... there- there's two more of them get out of here while you can..." He said while trembling over his own voice.
Before i could reply We heard leaves crunch. Foot steps getting louder, making their way to us. From the small road, on the left had a small hill with more forest while on the right looked towards my house, but infront of it had more forest.
The sound of heavy steps seeming louder every millisecond. One coming from the left up ahead and another to the right only a little bit away from me. The pleads of my friend had stopped as his eyes widened even more, if possible.
He looked at me worryingly and took a long shaking sigh. "I distract them... you leave" He stated a plan while pointing back the way I came. "Go back that way to get a way of escape."
I looked away from staring into the woods to make out where it was. Staring blankly at him, I shake my head crazily. "I can't leave you here you'll die!" I whisper shouted.
His eyes looked deadpanned and stared at me, now serious. "We will both die if you stay. Just go I make sure to keep them distracted. Besides I'm basically dead already." He looked to his left his breathing steadied and stood by himself leaving my grasp. "I'm not taking 'no' as an answer."
I sighed knowing i wasn't going to be able to change his mind. "Ok..." I said giving in too the plan.
We stood there anxiously waiting. It felt like forever waiting however the kangaroos didn't waste time once we were in sight. Out of my peripheral vision I saw the kangaroo to the right coming straight for my face. My eyes widen at the sight and move out of the way so my face wouldn't be crushed. The other kangaroo pounced onto my friend, having his reaction time slowed he was slammed back into the car, halfway in and halfway out.
"g- go!" he managed to say while the other kangaroo went up to them and joined in tairing him apart. I flinched but soon started running, I ran so fast I could hear a breeze go past my face. I ran up the hill towards my house and made it next to a car near the front door before stopping to breathe.
My breathing was raged from the running, I was almost wheezing. I calmed my breath and sat infront of the car on the floor to calm my heart rate.
Once my heart rate and breathing calmed I stood up and looked around for any signs of the kangaroos. There was a faint crunching sound. My head whipped in the direction it came from.
'The left?' The sound was getting louder along with heavy foot steps. The crunchy mostly stopped but the steps were still coming in this direction. I started backing up to the hill slowly. I didn't stop from looking the direction of the sound and made my way down the hill.
Through the dark the moon was casting a bright light over head that gave everywhere a lighted area. Another kangaroo appeared infront of me as I was it come closer. The body was two meters if not more, bright blood red glowing eyes with tiny dark orbs, purple faded hair on the sides of its' head, and blood seeping out of the sides of it mouth with sharp teeth sticking out. (It almost looked like Rammot the Chimera ant from Hunter x Hunter.)
'Shit' I darted down towards the chicken coops. The kangaroo sprinted after me as well. When i got down the the coop there was a big fence that had a fence on the top and overlapping the one standing vertically. I started climbing my way up, and under the one that was overlapping it. I jumped into the ground after I had got over the fence. The kangaroo got there right after I jumped.
"He-hey umm... look. So i know you want to like kill me and eat me... and... um... I'm making this harder for you so lets- uh... make and agreement." I started anxiously.
It stopped and looked at me to continue, so I did. "W-well... umm..." I looked around for a plan to escape. " Since this place is surrounded by a metal fence and the only way to get I right now would be to climb through... We could make a deal... I could let you come in while I wait here for you then you can get me...?" I was unsure if this plan was going to work if it doesn't then I die... but if it does then I could still die.
It's a simple tactic of distract and run. Nothing special like a grand winning escape but enough for now.
The kangaroo hesitated, but slowly made its way over to the fence and start climbing. I mean it is a pretty good deal if im too slow while the kangaroo is distracted. The body was a little more than halfway in and i had become closer very slowly. After it got in a little more I made a run for it going on the left side of it and climbing up the fence and hopping out. The kangaroo was inside the caged area as I darted onto the path that led past a giant tree and into more of the forest.
I had tried to make it seem like I was continuing to run to confuse it, so I could make my way up the giant tree. I climbed up the tree so fast that I don't even remember going up it. The kangaroo was standing inside the fenced area staring in my direction that I had fled spewing out random gibberish to me.
The kangaroo started after me. Running back to the fence and climbing its' way up and out. It sniffed around for a few moments and slowly walked in the direction I had gone before stopping a bit of a ways before the tree I had climbed up on. I was basically on the top, but there was still enough branches to hide me between them. It then looked up the tree making eyes contact with me. I gulped slowly and tried to make myself more hidden from its line of sight, but it already saw me and started clawing at the bottom of the tree.
Then all of a sudden there was a body figure with red and white hair? The guy flew down punching the kangaroo into the ground a few feet to the right of the tree killing it, with it almost pulverized.
He looked down at it and sighed. " You couldn't even take car of this?" I started climbing down to the ground. Making my way down within a minute making the tree seam shorter than it was.
The guys' back was facing me still looking at the kangaroo. He looked familiar... Split red and white hair. Light tanned skin. Pretty tall. I was unintentionally staring trying to figure out who this was when he turned around. His head tilted down so he could make eye contact. His bi-colored brown and turquoise ocean blue eyes met mine. His red scar covering the top left side where his turquoise eye sat upon his face. The muscles of his face relaxed as he held a smirked smile that looked villainous. The moon casting a glistening light that complemented his light skin as his eyes sparkled.
"Todoroki...?" My voice almost came out as a whisper while my face was held with confusion, curiosity, and shock.
He sighed while breaking eye contact looking down. He looked back at me then over his shoulder. As I followed his gaze looking to the side of his body, since I was shorter than his shoulder. There were two girl walking out of the forest arguing with each other over something.
"You... You saved me. Thank you!" As I was now looking at him with a smile He turned to look at me in return. His eyes held no emotion.
He squinted his eyes. " I didn't save you. I'm a villian. That thing was in my way. You just so happened to be here." He let out another sigh as the two girls came closer to us.
"Hey, Todoroki! You can't just leave us like that!" the girl on the left said while putting her hands on her hips.
He clicks his tongue, "Whatever. I'm doing my job just don't get in the way."
The girl to the right scoffed. "We could've gotten hurt! or worse!" Her voice was pitching and kind of annoying. Definitely can see why he's annoyed right now.
"Well that sounds like a you problem." He looked away from them to look at me. "Say... This was my last one, would you like to join us?"
"I mean sure I guess." I said shrugging my shoulders.
I don't really remember the route of how we got there, or the way the building looked like. But, we walked down a long hallway and went to the door all the way to end on the left. The room was pretty big, but there were no windows. when you first walk in there there is a closet to the left, and a door further up to the right is a bathroom. Then there is a giant bed in the middle. It looks like a king or maybe even bigger.
I walked in first, Todoroki following in behind me with the two girls close on his trail.
After Todoroki came into the room the two girls got into yet another argument about who goes in first. While they were still arguing when they got into the room I went over to the left side of the bed and sat down on the edge near the pillows.
"So I'm going to get in the shower. Get comfortable. Make yourself at home." He said while shrugging his shoulders sith some clothes in his arms, walking into the bathroom.
After he shut the door there was an awkward silence. "So... Todoroki is mine." One of the girls said glaring at me.
"No he's mine you dimwit!" The other girl yelled quietly. Girl one just rolled her eyes. Then they started arguing again. I rolled my eyes and started to stare at the desk that was close to the bed, looking at the stuff on it.
After a while the girls were just using their phones sitting side by side on the bed, and laugh occasionally.
For what felt like hours he finally came out of the bathroom. "You ready to sleep? I mean you guys don't have much of a choice." He said while shrugging his shoulders.
He wasn't wearing a shirt, but he was wearing some dark grey sweat pants. And his hair still damp from the shower. So technically speaking, "hot".
"I get to sleep next to him!" Girl one said while jumping closer to the middle of the bed.
"WHAT?! No I get too!" Girl two stated. Then they started arguing and wresting. All of a sudden they stopped and looked at me.
I sigh. "I don't care who i sleep next too as long as I get the edge of the bed." I say laying down where I had been sitting, and pulling the blankets up over me. I turned facing the opposite direction of then and laid on my side.
Eventually the arguing stopped and they got into bed. Girl one being on the outside near the edge and Girl two next to Todoroki. Then Todoroki next to me. We all laid in silence for a while, long enough for me to hear the two girls snore. I take in a long deep sigh.
"Hey..." Todoroki spoke to me turning his body parallel to mine.
"Hi..." I said quietly not moving my position. I felt the bed shift, and heard him move closer to me. He got so close i could feel his breathing on the back of my neck. "Aren't you a little close..." I ask quietly and slowly.
"I can move id you want... Just say so." Gis hand slowly crept up to the side of my thigh sending shivers down my back. "This is what you wanted, right?" His voice was low yet soft giving me goosebumps. A small chuckle escaped his mouth, and his hot breath hit the back of my neck again giving me shivers for the second time. His hand then slowly made its way up to my butt. Unexpectedly squeezed it making give a smal yelp in return.
