"Whether, are weehee at guys?" The only thing that sounded somewhat similar was, where are we at guys?
"We are currently headed back to the jail so that we can drop you off and unload the truck," I said, trying to sound sort of caregiver-ish but still manly.
"Oh, ok," was all I got back from Rob, but when I turned and looked at him, it was easy to see that he had slipped unconscious again.
We kept on driving until the jail was in sight. In the distance, I could see that figure again standing on the front lawn. By the time we got over there, it was gone again. At this point, I was convinced that something was wrong. This was the third time I had seen this figure. I pulled around back to the garage and back the truck inside. Aaron and Owen were already waiting at the garage door for us. (Considering we were back early).
Jeremy opened his door and got Rob out the back with Aaron's assistance. Owen helped unload all of the gear we had found. I flung open my door and darted out and towards the door. I threw open the door leading into the jail and started running at full speed down the hallway. So much was going through my mind that I didn't realize that I ran right past the door leading to the camera room. I ran back and went inside to check the monitors.
I plopped down in the chair and swung myself to the monitor. I swept my eyes through every screen, looking for this figure. I couldn't find anything on the monitors. All of a sudden, I could see what looked like a truck driving by the gas station out where we were scavenging. I walked out of the room and grabbed Owen and told him to grab one of the scoped rifles I got from the gun store. Both of us walked out of the front door.
