Chen Waan was very tired because of jet lag and whatever she had just encountered. Her eyes were closing by themselves in the car but she wanted to be alert. She did not let herself sleep throughout the journey back to the hotel.
Mr. Fan had another mission, to evaluate her as much as he could. He wanted to make small conversation but seeing her state, he decided otherwise. Her determination to keep awake was admirable though.
"Ms. Chen, we are here," Mr. Fan took her to the nearest hotel contracted by WhirlWind Entertainment.
"Thank you, Mr. Fan. I will take my leave now," she left as soon as she could. Her luggage had already been transported and she could collect the keys on reception showing the black card provided to her by Mr. Fan.
She entered her room and did not even see how it looked. She found the bed and plopped down in the soft mattress. She was woken up by ringing of her doorbell next morning.
