Poppy's POV:
something was wrong with eclipse. I had a strange feeling about her that made me have goosebumps. I locked my room door because I was unsure of what might eclipse do while I was sleeping. I put my p.j's on and went to sleep. "Dream" I was at the carnival, this time it was eclipse. it was her dead body by the circus. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around quickly. eclipse"her sprit." was holding an axe in her hand and swung it towards me. she was laughing very loud and scary. "HAHAHAHAHA." her glowing red eyes stared into me. "what's wrong bunny? don't you want to be friends...best friends!?" I was on the ground still. "that man that your parents were talking to...he died years ago! I was confused, and surprised. that man was a ghost and my parents didn't even know it! eclipse came close to my ear and said "wake up..." she snapped her fingers. then I woke up gasping and breathing heavily. It was morning already. it felt like I didn't sleep at all. I went downstairs to the kitchen to drink some tea. I then, saw a note on the cabinet. "dear Poppy, we are going to be gone for 2 months because there was a fire at the hospital. someone has been setting fires around here lately." LOVE~mom & dad. after I read that letter. my parent's job was pretty busy. so I had a lot of time for myself. "I'm just gonna take my tea and walk out of the kitchen. i then heard laugher by the stair railing. "hehehe" this time is wasn't loud it was like a soft laugh. it was eclipse. now I get why she was laughing...I have to be with her for 2 months now! "what are you doing!?" I ask. eclipse rolled her eyes with a grin." well, I'm here because it's my house and second, I'm here to be your friend." I got closer to her by the stairs. I saw she had a book in her hand. "what's that?" eclipse gave me the book."here, i want you to have it, it's called Ivanhoe." once I took the book it looked old, so I'm guessing this is one of her books she read back in her time. I didn't read as much. but I was happy to read an old book from the very past. "so what is the story about?" "she got off the railing " Ivanhoe is the story of the remaining Anglo-saxon noble families at a time when the nobility in England was overwhelmingly Norman. it follows the Saxon protagonist, sir Wilfred of Ivanhoe, who is out of favor with his father for his allegiance to the Norman king Richard the lionhearted." I was already interested in reading the book that eclipse gave me. so I just say thank you to her and rush to my room. I put my headphones on and drink my tea while I was reading. 1 hour later I got tried from all the reading so I decided to watch some news. the news didn't mention anything interesting so I turned it off and went to go find eclipse. I looked back at the kitchen and see a basket full of candy. I spotted my favorite candy"kitkats!" I jump high. I hear footsteps behind me. "you got a basket full of candy?" eclipse came closer and saw a black and white ribbon. she chuckled and took a kitkat bar and left. I didn't understand anything "was she the one that gave me this basket?" I just grab my kitkats and followed eclipse to the attic. eclipse saw me"why are you here again?! didn't I tell you to leave!" she was holding something,I believe was her purple bunny midnight. I know I've been knowing her for 2 days now and I think I should give her a chance to let her be my friend...besides what can go wrong?
