Chapter 1 - Prologue part 1

I'm not a good person, that's something about myself I'll never be able to change. It's not that I always planned on being a good person, rather it just happened that I could no longer balance being a good person with my career and my life. To start with, I'm dead. I was killed because the power I had was a bit too much and when one person gains too much power, someone else needs to cut them out or take away their power.

Unfortunately, taking away my power was impossible because it wasn't the kind of power that could simply be taken away. The organization I worked in wasn't a democracy, it was more of a dictatorship. After years of work, I had finally become top dog and I was immediately treated with more respect than the last leader. It was definitely because everyone was piss-in-their-pants terrified of me, which is rather rare even for my kind of work.

You want to know my career? Well, before knowing that we need to get to how I even got into my career. In my opinion, that story is much more interesting because it's got romance, drama and action. There isn't too much comedy, but with my narration I'm sure I can fill it up with some fun jokes. Mind you, they may be insensitive… to myself so don't get offended. If you do get pissy just leave a mean comment, I know the trolls are always ready to leave something mean.

So we start with a woman screaming in pain, as most do, as she naturally birthed a baby girl. That girl, that's not me. At that point I had already been born however my story doesn't start with me. Stories don't start with the villainess, they start with the heroine. The bright-eyed, happy-go-lucky, giggly-ass bi- beautiful soul. She had her family's glowing black hair, unblemished tan skin and amber eyes, the kind that look like pools of honey when the sun goes through them.

So anyways, she's pretty, cute, hot and became a real heart-breaker once she got older - but at this point, she had just been violently pushed out of her mother's vaginal cavity and had taken her first conscious breath. Unfortunately, the second she was born her mother decided to peace off and died. RIP her mother I guess. You know how all men suck? Well her idiot of a dad decided that she caused her mother's death, which isn't wrong but it wasn't her fault, it was his for getting his wife pregnant so really, he's the villain of the story. Unfortunately, because he's the dad he gets a get-out-of-jail-free-card (like in Monopoly in case you're an uncultured swine) and he faces no consequences in this story, instead I do.

Okay, so the girl grows up with no real love from her father but manages to win the hearts of all the other people around her which included her nanny, their butler and servants. You may now think, this must be medieval times because who on Earth has servants in the 21st Century? Well, when daddy is rich you have that stuff but that's just capitalism baby. So anyways, she was a cute innocent girl that craved her useless father's love, however he was barely at home because he had an organisation to run and also he hate-loved her as men do. I kinda loathe men at this point, but you'll understand why later. My bias is not unfounded, I promise.

Anyways, when she turns eighteen she should have taken on the family business, but she was too protected and her father didn't think she was capable of taking on the responsibility. If she had been exposed to his life, perhaps she would have been able to take on the leading role, however instead he decided to adopt a child that looked like his dead wife. Obviously, that child was me. I'll get to how I got there another time, that story is just depressing. Honestly, I'd rather watch milk curdle than retell those events.

So I was raised to be a cold, deadly, decisive leader but unfortunately, as you can tell, I have too much personality for that. Luckily, I've always been able to hide my personality, you learn that you need to hide your personality if it means you survive. So I went from beggar to princess pretty quickly and because of my wonderful personality everyone slowly came to love me too. I mean, I was pretty loveable as a kid. I had huge blue eyes and the blondest hair you could have ever seen, unfortunately the little girl looked more like her father than she did her mother. Mind you, her dad was also hella hot, but blonde bombshells do get rich men.

So time went on and I was trained into the perfect leader, unfortunately there was someone else who was also in the running for my job. When both of us girls were ten, a boy entered the chat. He was the son of the main man's last marriage, so he was about two years older than us. He was… just so perfect. It was frustrating having to beat him at everything, because even if he was perfect, I was better. He really bonded with the girl, they both bonded more and more everyday, he was the sibling she would never have in me. I barely had any contact with her but I kept an eye on her. I had to protect her because to me, at least, she was my little sister. She didn't feel the same way, but what was I expecting? I had pretty much taken her life from her and her father's affections too, the ones she had always been chasing.

I worked pretty closely with his son, however I was clearly the best option to lead the organization so I managed to 'steal' it from pretty boy. He didn't like that, but he couldn't do anything about it. Then, she found out. That was probably the worst day of my life other than my death.
