As Charlie was showing me around town he took me to some of his favorite shops. We we're headed to his favorite candy shop when we heard the sound of trumpets coming our way. I knew that it was a foreign kingdom that had just arrived for the spring ball.
"Who do you think the trumpets are for?" He asked me his eyes full of curiosity.
"I think they belong to foreign countries." I replied annoyed. Charlie must have heard the announce on my voice because he asked if I was happy that they were here.
"Not exactly, my parents want me to marry one of the princes from the ball and the wedding will be held at the winter ball." I explained to him.
"Oh" he replied. "I've never been to a ball before, what is it like?" He asked full of curiosity.
"It's full of people and it's very boring. The men jus talk about politics and the girls just stand around. But the best part by far is the little princess, princes, and noble kids because they always have the most fun." I told him. He laughed a little.
"How about I take you to the spring ball with me?" I asked him. His face shot up to look at me form what he was looking at.
"Can you really do that?" He asked full of anticipation.
"Of course I can, I'm the princess after all." I reminded him. "But I'll have to make sure it's okay with your parents first, how about we head to your house?" I asked.
"Okay, let's go." He said full excitement as he started to lead the way.

About 5 minutes later
We arrived at Charlie's house and he lead me inside. "Mom, I'm home!" He called.
"Welcome home darling, how was your time out in the town?" She asked as she entered the room looking at the papers in her hand.
"I brought home a friend!" He exclaimed.
Then she looked up and her face flushed white. "Oh my, your highness! What are you doing here?" She asked nervously while bowing.
"Please rise and please just call me Lisa." I told here. "I am here to ask for permission to have your son as my special guest at the spring ball." I told here. I could feel the uneasiness building up inside of Charlie.
"Of course you can your maj- Lisa." She said correcting herself. Charlie let out a small sigh in relief.
"I was also wondering if my wasn't too much trouble if he could stay at the place until the ball, if Charlie is okay with it of course?" I asked nervously, hoping that she would say yes.
