"Princess Lisa, wake up, your going to be late" my maid Ava, who also happens to be my best friend. Her family has been working on the castle scene before I was born, so we grew up together.
"Why do I have to get up?" I asked half awake
"Because you have to meet with the King and Queen in about an hour and a half. Now we must quickly prepare you and get you to breakfast." Ava explained
"I don't want to." I complained as I got out of bed

After I had gotten ready I went to the thrown room to see my mom and dad sitting in their usually spot on their thrones.
"Greetings your majesty's" I said as I curbside to them
"Rise my daughter" my father said.
"Thank you father" I said, then I went and sat in my thrown to the left of my father while my mother sat to the right of father.
After some of the nobles and priest finished telling father about the recent updates on the kingdom my father turned to me and told me he had an announcement to make.
"Daughter as you know me and your mother have wanted you to marry for quite sometime now." He started.
I rolled my eyes, I knew exactly where this was going he was going to go on and on about how it's time that I start a family and the importance of being at the side of a king.
"So next month instead of holding our usual spring ball we will be holding a ball so that you can meet young princes and kings and hopefully find you a husband- " He said but before he could finish I said.
"But dad I'm doing just fine how I am, I don't need a man in my life." I complained
"The ball will be held and you will find a husband and you will be married to him at the Christmas ball this year" he repeated again.
"But dad this isn't fair, you never seem to care what I think on this matter." I said practically yelling.
"YOU WILL FIND A HUSBAND, WEATHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT." He yelled.
My mom quickly glared at me for talking back to father as she went to try and calm him down.
"I will take my leave your majesty" I said as I curtsied and waited for my fathers approval to leave.
"You may go" he said in a sharp cold tone.
