"I know I didn't do something wrong. I just wondered what I said unrighteous that made him so angry like that and it was the second time he dismissed that topic but it makes me wonder why. I mean, who gets angry when someone compliments your talent?"
"I guess only Harry." I answered.
She nods, "Only Harry."
I breathe out silently, "Music is really a touchy topic for him. I don't know why he does not really want to talk about it that much and no one knows why he hates it."
She nods, "I remembered how you told me about that."
I nod at her too, "It wasn't your fault. He's just a moody bitch sometimes."
Merry laughs softly which makes me smile too. Her eyes turned serious as they looked at me, "Do you think music has to do something with his past before coming here to LUAHU?" She asks.
"Maybe." I answer frankly but I still have no idea. "Honestly, I don't personally know much about Harry because he does not say anything about himself to all of us. We know he is from London. We know he loves surfing. We didn't know he can play the piano because he never ever touched the piano in the beach house. We didn't know he was that great of a singer as how you claim him. We didn't even know he is good in composing a song. We don't even know his last name. We only know he is Harry. We hang out with him because he's a really kind friend and he cares for us."
"How can you trust a person like that when he does not even tell you who he really is?" She asks.
I take a long sip from my shake, "Actions. Harry is not all talk. That guy is just genuinely nice."
She pauses and I stare into her beautiful blue eyes, "Do you think he has his reasons why he does not really share things about himself to people?" She asks me.
I nod, "We all have skeletons in our closet. Harry has things to hide about himself too so we don't force it out of him because his reasons might be too personal."
Merry smiles at me before we continued talking about something else. I excused myself and went to the bathroom and texted Diana who has also sent me a message a few minutes ago.
ZION: D, I have a plan for tonight. I'll tell you when I am back home.
I went back to our table and paid for our order. As we wait for the change, Merry was trying to finish her shake. "Merry, do you want to have dinner with me tonight?" I asked.
"Dinner?" She repeats.
I nod. "Is it alright with you?"
"If Harry is going to be there then I don't think I am ready to face him. I don't like the feeling of being shut out right in front of my face." She answers.
"Don't worry, it's just going to be you and me."
She breathes, "Okay. Since you paid for this, I will pay for tonight."
"No." I groan.
"Come on, this is a modern world we're living in. Women can pay for dinners too." She insisted with a smile so I smile back at her.
"Okay, only for tonight. Dinner at Trattola."
I drove Merry back to her hotel as soon as we got the change and I told her that I will pick her up around seven o'clock later. I went back to the beach house and to meet up with Diana but found Harry sitting next to her in the kitchen. Shit, I told her to go somewhere where there's no Harry.
"Hey." I greeted him as I joined them in the kitchen counter. I glanced at Diana who is looking at me apologetically before I turn my attention back to Harry. "Dude you're burned."
Harry chuckles dryly, "It's alright." He takes a spoonful of ice cream out from the container before shoving it into his mouth. "Neal said you went out somewhere. Where did you go?"
Diana stares at me eagerly.
"I just went out for a drive." I answer him calmly.
We were interrupted when Neal joins us, "Zion did you buy what I asked you?"
"Oh shit Neal, I forgot. Sorry mate."
Neal groans, "I guess I have to buy me some then." He leaves the kitchen.
"Do we have plans for tonight?" Harry asks.
I glance at Diana, "Why don't you ask Diana?"
Harry turns to Diana, "What are we going to do tonight with the gang?"
"Maybe we should go out clubbing, it has been a while since we partied." Diana states.
Harry groans, "I'll pass. I want to sleep early tonight."
Diana stares at me waiting for me to say something.
"Are you both alright?" Harry asks as he looks at me then back at Diana.
"We're fine." Diana answers snappily.
Harry placed his spoon down the table, "Alright, I'll head up now. I'll take a shower. I badly need cold shower over my skin. You can finish my share, D." He says before leaving the kitchen.
"Thank you Harry!" Diana calls out as he motions his hand at her.
I turned to the door and made sure that he had went up to his bedroom before I turn back to Diana.
"What's your plan Mr. Genius?" Diana asks. "Harry's planning to stay here for the night and not going anywhere. We need your brilliant ideas."
I smile at Diana. "I'm taking Merry on a date tonight."
Her eyes widened, "What?!" She looked out to the door before leaning forward to me, "I thought we were going to look for ways to make the two of them talk?"
I smiled at her.
"Oh fuck no. Are you planning to make Harry jealous using Merry?" She asks me softly with wide eyes. "Are you really using your brain Zion?"
I just kept smiling at her, teasing her by not answering her question.
"I shouldn't have helped you. You are going to be in so much trouble." She tells me.
I chuckle, "Don't worry because that makes the two of us."
"Fuck you." She was quick to curse at me. "This was your plan all along? To confirm things between Harry and Merry using me because you wanted to date her?" She looked and sounded pissed. "I thought you were Harry's friend? We all know he is smitten by America and you're planning to date her tonight? Talk about brilliant plan." She said sarcastically.
I laugh under my throat as I kept smiling at Diana.
"Zion I swear to God I will kill you if you will do something stupid tonight."
