As the time got closer to closing hours, Kathleen contemplated giving Kimberly a call. She had only invited her to go to church with her because she hadn't known Pete was back. Now that Pete was back and they were in a relationship now, she didn't know if Kimberly would be comfortable with going to church with her and Pete, and she didn't know if Pete would be okay if she asked him to leave without her so she could go to church with Kimberly.
