Kathleen had no idea what had touched Pete, but she was grateful since he didn't bother her or say anything to her for the rest of the service. Neither of them bothered standing up as first timers, so immediately the service ended they all went outside.
"Daddy I like my class. They gave us snacks and they taught us about the Bible." Amanda announced excitedly as she ran up to her father carrying a plastic bottle of Nutri milk and a wrapped donut.
"Really? What did they teach you?" Kathleen asked as they all got into the car.
"The lady said all liars will go to hell. She also said good children do not steal or tell lies." Amanda piped.
"That's good. So you must never tell a lie." Kathleen said with a nod as she fixed her seatbelt.
"Are you still up for your driving lessons today?" Pete asked her after they were all settled in the car, and he was driving out of the church premises.
"I'm not sure yet." Kathleen said without looking at him.
