Immediately after Ella returned to her office, she got busy with work since she had to look through her books to balance her account, meet with her employees to find out what products needed to be restocked and get customer feedback.
It wasn't until midday before she was done, and then she realised she hadn't checked on Kathleen for quite some time. So, she opened her WhatsApp and decided to text her, just in case she was in the middle of a meeting.
"Fine, Lady!" She texted with a heart emoticon, and surprisingly, Kathleen responded Immediately.
"Hey! I'm sorry I haven't checked up on you. I've been really busy," Kathleen texted back.
"Of course I understand. Can you talk now? Can I call?" Ella texted.
"Yeah. Sure," Kathleen texted. Before she could say Jack, Ella's call came in, and she quickly received it.
"I'm so sorry I haven't called to find out how your mom and Isioma are doing. How are they?" Ella asked curiously.
