I glance at my wall clock and it was only eight in the evening. I go take a quick shower then quickly dry my hair. I change into my black ripped jeans and my white button up shirt then my white sneakers. I style my hair into half split bun then switch off the lights. I got my keys and drove to my uncle's house.
After sometime I reached their house, I notice a Nissan 370Z parked in their front yard. I parked next to ot and then get out of my car. I ring the doorbell and I was surprised that it was little Clyde who opened the door. His lips turned upwards into a beaming smile once he saw me. He was about to say something when I put my hand in my lips, sign for him to be quiet. He nods with a smile. I picked him up and enter the house. I closed the door and locked it.
"where's your dad?" I asked him quietly with a smile.
"he's talking to a big bro in the secret room I think" he whispered back.
"then where's your mommy?" I asked again.
"she visited pretty lady" he answered in a whisper. Pretty lady is Aunt Becca's mom, I call her pretty lady too.
"ohh, so can we go to your room and play?" I asked Clyde.
"yes please, daddy is boring to play with. Instead of you, your always fun to be with" he answered.
"it's not that long since we saw each other young man but you already know how to flatter a girl" I said.
"I only flatter you, mommy and pretty lady" he said with a pout. I giggled at his actions. We go upstairs and as promised I played with Clyde till he fell asleep. I tucked him in his bed and go downstairs. The Nissan 370Z is still here.
'Who is this person that Uncle didn't even here the doorbell earlier and more importantly he let Clyde wander by himself.' I asked in my mind. I have a devilish thought running in as I asked this in my mind. I get my phone and texted Aunt Becca that her husband is letting their child alone. I got a response quickly after I send the message saying she's going back home now. I replied to her that she didn't need to come home immediately as I'm here at their house and keeping an eye on Clyde. She texted back saying that she's glad that I'm here but she's coming back home tomorrow morning. I texted her to have a good rest already since she's planning to go back home tomorrow.
After messaging Aunt Becca I go back to Clyde's room. I noticed something that's moving in the tree not a far from the house. It's not a squirrel but a mercenary I'm sure of it. There are five of them surrounding the house.
"tssk pain in the ass" I said quietly and get my gun with a silencer in the back of my pants. I quietly wake up Clyde by shaking his bed a little bit.
"is it morning already?" he asked as he rubbed his eyes.
"no baby, but they're intruders so I need you to go to our secret place hmm?" I said as I stoke his hair. That's an ordered to be exact. But quietly. We're acting like he's going to the bathroom. He nods his head and get down from his bed and walk towards the secret place I especially build for him when Uncle and Aunt was gone. The lights were out so the mercenaries won't notice it. Once Clyde finally get in the room I walk out towards his terrace as if I'm taking a breather. I smirked at the dark night and I aimed my gun at where the farthest mercenary were and shot him with my gun. Then I continue to shot the remaining of them. It finished quickly and I observed the surroundings once more. Once I confirmed that no one else were remained, I go to where Clyde's at and checked if he's alright. I didn't even have the time to open the passage when pop out his head and stare at me with bright eyes and a smile.
"teach me how you did that!" he said with excitement and demand in his voice.
"in another time young man I promised I'll teach you how to use a gun" I said as ruffled his hair.
"promise?" he asked.
"promised, now get out of there and go to your dad I'll be at your back." I said and he immediately get out of the secret room. He walk towards the other secret room at the house and I followed suit. He easily opened it with the button on the floor that was barely noticeable. We get inside. Clyde's the one to showed up first.
"What are you doing here Clyde, didn't I said that don't bother me when it's not necessary? especially I'm having a conversation here with your big brother" Uncle said as he picked up Clyde.
"sorry about that Bryce" uncle apologetically said to the man sitting opposite of him earlier.
"it's okay Mr. Lockhart" he replied.
"didn't I say that call me Uncle" Uncle Rick said.
"okay Uncle, what are you doing here Clyde?" he asked my nephew.
"oww to discuss things like you do brother Bry" Clyde answers.
"what things?" my Uncle said as he turns to Clyde.
"you clean the things outside" he said as he point towards the tv screen that inside the room. The both of them, Uncle and this guy called Bryce both looked at the screen and their eyes nearly get out of their sockets. My Uncle quickly call his men to clean the trashes.
