Snapping the thick,black appointment book closed, which made everyone jump with fright, Sarah explained to Louis "I have put you and your brother beside each other, unfortunately the woman who got frightened by the scissors just now was assigned to you but I have switched her out for someone else. Your brother is in the very corner so he has more privacy. We do not have much business today so you may stay as long as you like" as soon as she stopped speaking, she had a big smile, plastered on her face.
Louis nodded and thanked her but he was thinking in his head 'I wonder how she said all if that in one breath, not even I can do that never mind my brother'. He smiled to himself as he was thinking this, and was not aware if all the stares that he, and his brother were getting.
They were led over to where they were going to get their hair cut, and sat down.
They hadn't even properly sat down when, two girls came over and started setting up.
One girl was medium height and had her shoulder length,brown hair tied neatly behind her head, her name was Jade, and she was assigned to Louis.
The other girl, was slightly taller than the other worker and looked quite intimidating as she was one of the tallest in the room. Her hair was very shiny, it was long and left loose, she had undone the first few buttons on her shirt, revealing her pale collar bone.
She sauntered to where Jayden was, she started to set up the bottles of shampoo, conditioner and other things hairdressers use, doing it in what she thought was a sexy way, twisting and showing off her curves but to everyone else, it just looked like she was squirming around and ended up looking pathetic.
When she was finished setting up her own things, Jade looked at her curiously and then said, "Pamela, what are you doing?".
Pamela looked at her, with mockery evident in her eyes, "What do you mean? Are you jealous that I'm doing his hair? Ha, too bad then"
Jade went back to doing Louis's hair. Just as Pam though the matter was over, Jade went on to say "No I'm not jealous, but that is Amber's station and you know what she is like, it's not like you don't know."
After finishing her statement, Jade continued what she was doing previously, while Pam was standing there with an expression on her face like she was struck by lightning.
While this was going on, Amber was in the bathroom making an important call, she finished her call and came back over to her desk.
She wasn't looking where she was going and just as she was about to take another step forward, she looked up, and for the second time that day, she caught a pair of mischievous eyes staring at her in the mirror. This time, on meeting his gaze, she felt like she was being sucked in to an endless abyss.
She quickly drew her eyes away from his and fixed her murderous gaze on the problem that had presented itself to her.
The shop had turned completely silent the moment Amber had stepped out of the bathroom, anxiously waiting for what she would do to Pamela this time.
