Chapter 94 - Chapter 94

The process was a little hard than they were expecting. Convincing random people with the power of persuasion was really a hard task at hand to what they were anticipating. They had to convince them of how it was beneficial to attend and watch the play and what lessons their children who came to watch might learn. When the person under their keen eyes and sweet words had been won over, they had to register their details as well as get their signatures, whilst giving out the pamphlets to them so that they could read what the play would entail among some other cool stuff.

After about twenty minutes or so, Freya had managed the most signatures, with Hannah following closely behind. Ingrid was the last as the pregnancy made her sit down most of the time by a bench and miss potential signatures and interested people. She was really trying a lot. She was just too tired to cooperate and even Freya saw her flaws. She couldn't help but direct some people after she had finished convincing them over to Ingrid for signatures and to be given the pamphlets so that she could just keep up with her and Hannah.

"Hey, why don't we change spots?" Freya asked Ingrid sometime later as she excused herself from her spot on the restaurant's door. She knew that many people passed through that door and hopefully Ingrid would be lucky to register some of them.

"No, I'm perfectly fine here." Ingrid boldly answered her as she toured her eyes around the lazy entrance to the restaurant.

"Ingrid look at your signing sheet. It's few of people…" Freya muttered.

"I know… but it's okay. At least it's a worthy price to pay…"

"A worthy price to pay?" Freya squeaked. "For what?"

"To see him again."

"Him? You mean Ayden?"

"Yes…" Ingrid's face glowed up as she looked around.

"Ingrid… how could you be thinking of him right now? If it's too much to ask, girl you're pregnant. Seeing him should be the last thing on your mind right now."

"It's not that complicated Freya. It's just that I miss him so much…"

"You've done enough for him. For once think about yourself. You have to ace this quest if you are to survive a severe punishment from the dean or Mr. Grant." Freya lashed at her, shaking her head in her speech.

"You're exaggerating things, Freya…" Ingrid told her as her eyes drifted to a group of boys who were walking past the restaurant. They were three of them, dressed in casual clothes with school bags on their backs. Ingrid rose up from her seating posture, a smile easily stating its presence on her face. Freya looked on at the group of boys that had caught Ingrid's attention. Her face dropped when she noticed Ayden in the mix, walking as cool as possible, fist-bumping with his lot in what seemed like he was telling them to veer off as he went to speak with his girlfriend. The boys walked with him though, till they reached where Ingrid and Freya had been seating on that far end corner of the building.

"Hey…" Ayden called up to them as a broad smile popped up on his face. There was happiness in his voice. Ingrid rose up from her seat and looked at him, her face seeming to be lit by his presence.

"Hey…" Ingrid answered him back, embracing him choreographically as the other boys and Freya looked on.

"Oh, guys this Ingrid… my girlfriend. The one I told you about." Ayden introduced Ingrid to the other guys before he introduced them. "The one with the weird glasses is Elijah and the goofy nerdish one is Stan." The boys guffawed at how Ayden presented them to these two beautiful girls. "The girl next to her is Freya." Elijah narrowed his eyes at Freya's lilac ones. They were really attractive. One glance at her, Freya could notice that the guy was already building fetishes in his mind.

"Don't even think about it," Freya told him as she rolled her eyes at him. The boy responded with a grin, a confused look on his face following afterward.

"Um… so you guys go on." Ingrid talked to the boys, crossing her arms in an authoritative manner. The two boys were taller than Ayden and seemed to be nerdy more than him. "Ayden will catch up with you guys later." The two boys took one daring look at Ingrid, then a flirty one at Freya before they noticed Hannah on the other end of the building talking to some old woman. They pulled away from the three and walked towards Hannah on the other end and waited till she was done speaking to the woman.

"Hey… mind giving us some privacy?" Ayden told Freya sharply, with a warm voice behind his glowing face, eyes full of dark rims surrounding it. She scoffed, rolling her eyes at him, and walked away as she kicked air lightly with her feet.

"Hey what are you doing here?" Ayden asked Ingrid when they were now sitting alone on the bench close to the building.

"Probation stuff." Ingrid laughed as she held his hands. "It was kind of a surprise to us when we were informed that we would be coming here to do… whatever this is." She slammed the pamphlets on her lap. "I knew your home was this way, so I took my chances knowing that you pass here every day to and from school."

"What a lucky guess," Ayden told her. "So… what are these?" Ingrid explained lightly about the play and the pamphlet thing and Ayden signed after she was through.

"You'll still be here by April?" She asked, her mind having clearly rendered that his parents wanted him to move over to England.

"Hey, I'm not going anyway…" Ayden told her as he cupped her cheek. "They'd have to force me up that plane. I'm not leaving you with this." His free hand slid to her belly. He felt the belly belt that had been strapped across. Ingrid looked at him in a lovely manner before she took his hand away from her belly. Ayden looked at her confused. "What's wrong?"

"People will notice if you touch me there. Like for instance Hannah over there, and Miss. Esther in there." She answered.

"Whoa! You mean you have a teacher in close proximity?" Ayden's eyes popped. Ingrid's school had a serious protocol against their girls being mistreated by strangers on the outside walls.

"Don't worry… she's cool." Ingrid calmed him down.

"Nah, just kidding. I'm not afraid of some teacher." He raised his brows. "So, how are things down there?"

"Where?" She tilted her head seductively.

"You know…" Ayden answered.

"Freya has not touched me if that's what you mean."

"No… Ingrid, no. I'm not talking about Freya." He scoffed. "I know that you can't allow her. What I mean is about the baby… how's it?"

"Wow!" Ingrid exclaimed as she trained her eyes to Freya who was getting a signature. "I can't believe that you're actually so interested in this. What happened to you? You ask a lot about it nowadays."

"Hey, I care about you… and yeah I'm the dad and stuff so I guess I have every right." Ayden boldly answered her as he cupped her cheeks again. Ingrid afforded a lovely glance at his grey eyes. The dark rims were well pronounced and even now as close as she was to him, they seemed attractive. Her own eyes were lovely too, as they made sure that whoever looked at her always found it hard to look away. "I was stupid and blinded earlier but if this is what you want… then I'll support you."

At that moment, Ingrid looked at Freya who afforded to look at them now, as she held out some few pamphlets in her hand. She remembered what Freya had told her. That she was older than him and whatever she said, Ayden would have to obey her. That the relationship was built on rules, she remembered, and not trust. If this is what you want, then… Ingrid thought as she looked at the girl who kept looking at them, affording a fake smile. Was Freya telling the truth, and that she was too clouded to see it? She really loved him, and she wanted him to be there for her out of pure love and not because she demanded it. Ayden brought her mind back when he cupped her cheek and made her look at her.

"What's wrong?" Ayden asked her.

She stood up and left him seating by the bench. "Do you really want this?" Ingrid asked him as worry clouded her eyes.

"What?" He scoffed.

"The baby? Do you really want this?" Ingrid repeated the question more affirmatively.
