today Angus finally turned 18 and could finally be considered a free man. well, he could once he finished the ceremony to officially receive his class. after 18 years of being bullied by everyone around including his quote-unquote parents, he could be free. when he was first born into this world all he could think about was how excited he was to be reincarnated this excitement was soon short-lived as taking his first real look at the world he entered. it was a relatively lavish bedroom with strange magical looking candles that somehow didn't burn the drapes and being held by a squat old woman with black stained teeth. yep, he was born into a fantasy world if you asked why this was a problem all he could tell you is even though he couldn't recall important bits of information about the past life he knew he was a hardcore science fiction nerd and felt a slight disdain for the fantasy worlds portrayed in the time of his life and the only true fantasy world he accepted was lord of the rings everything else was hot trash. were he wished for a world of traversing the galaxy and building amazing machines such as mechs he's now stuck in a backward place with no toilets, limited hygiene, and snot-nosed nobles. yes, there was magic but so what as he grew older he discovered that he had slightly less than average magical ability in this regard and no combat skill so ever. at first his parents were so happy to have him do to him being a great physical specimen they thought he could be a great warrior and possibly make them a noble clan from a humble merchant family through military exploits. but soon it was discovered that he didn't have any real talent besides making things and so as cliche as it is he fell out of favor and was constantly bullied and humiliated ever since.
and so he walked into the humble church to complete his ceremony which one would usually be surrounded by friends and family he was alone with the priest as his class and skills were displayed for all to see if anyone else would have cared enough to show up.
