" Are you absolutely sure? " Mark asked looking straight at Maria.
She nodded and looked down at her lap. Mark closed his eyes and sighed.
" Is he at the police station? " He asked after a few moments.
" Yes. He is being interrogated, " Daniel snorted, " he is a great actor though. Had us all fooled. Glad, I wasn't blind like others. " Daniel said staring at Maria.
Maria narrowed her eyes, " Aren't you too happy? "
" Yes, I am. I didn't like him one bit. He seemed suspicious. I am glad I didn't get fooled by him. "
Maria squeezed her eyes not wanting to further engage with Daniel.
" I am going to meet him. " Mark said and stood up.
" Wait! Take me too. " Maria held his hand.
" You need to rest. And why do you want to meet him? " Jay said in a rush.
" I just want to know why he did this and if he actually did this. " Maria said trying to get up.
Mark held her in place, " So you are not sure? "
