Samuel was sitting at a table beside the window. He watched the people going about there business.
' This place has changed since the last time. There weren't this many people here at that time. ' He thought.
A notification came on his phone and a small smile came on his face after seeing it.
" I should go to the city soon. " He said and stretched.
A small commotion at the entrance caused him to turn his head.
There he saw Jay Parker walking in his full glory and people bowing at him like he was a God.
He could see the smug expression on Jay's face. Internally scoffing at the sight, he stood up and tried to plant a fake smile.
" Mr.Parker. " Samuel smiled.
" Mr.Kim, " Jay nodded his head, " I hope I didn't kept you waiting. "
" Not at all. " Samuel sat down, " You only came an hour late. " He mumbled.
" What? " Jay looked straight at him.
" Nothing. " Samuel shook his head.
Menus were placed in front of them. Samuel looked through it and decided to order a Spaghetti along with Russian Salad and Grape Wine.
Jay ordered the same.
Samuel waited for the waiter to leave before he looked towards Jay.
" What do you want to talk about? "
" I want to ask you something. " Jay said.
" I am listening. " Samuel nodded.
" I-I wanted to ask you to give me back... the canal house. " Jay said with hesitation.
Samuel raised one of his eyebrows, " I am confused. If you didn't want to sell it, why did you put it up for sale? "
" Well, I asked my son put it up for sale. But later I made a plan to put that land to good use. That's why I want it back. " Jay said avoiding Samuel's sharp gaze.
' Does he know something? ' Samuel thought.
" I have already bought it and the renovations have been started. I am sorry but I can't give you that house. " Samuel apologised.
" Please. I will help you buy another one. " Jay pleaded.
' Jay Parker pleaded!!! He definitely knows. ' Samuel thought and cleared his throat.
" Sir. I have taken a liking to that house and I am going to stay there. I apologise but I am not returning it. Forgive me. " Samuel smiled a little.
The food came which broke the awkward tension.
They ate the food in silence. Jay looked annoyed and disappointed. Clearly he didn't expect to be rejected. Samuel kept taking small glances to observe him.
As soon as the lunch finished, both of them left the place without another word.

Jay pulled up his car at the apartment building in the city.
The valet bowed at him and took the car keys.
Riding the elevator, the only thing on his mind was the canal house.
He got out on the fifth floor and slowly walked to his apartment.
He ringed the bell and the door was opened by a gorgeous woman wearing a tight black dress and black heels. She had wavy hair.
She smiled and took Jay inside.
After entering the living room, he plopped down on the couch.
The woman brought juice and opened the first two buttons of his shirt. Jay sighed and picked the glass of juice.
" What is it? Honey. " The woman caressed his hair.
" Nancy. The canal house. Its gone from my hands. " Jay rubbed his face.
Nancy frowned, " What do you mean? "
" I finally got a lead on those documents and tape from eighteen years ago. I learned its inside that house. But Mark sold the house. " Jay rubbed his forehead.
" WHAT? " Nancy stood up and widened her eyes.
" What are we going to do now? " She asked.
" I am thinking. I am sure I will come up with something. I just want to relax right now. " Jay replied.
" Come with me. " She held his hand and took him to the bedroom.

Samuel jogged around the Parker mansion. A sweet song was playing in his ears.
The events from the day before were playing like a film in his mind.
He had already informed Jake about his talk with Jay Parker.
The fact that Jay was still looking for Samuel Parker-the boy from eighteen years ago- was a relief that he had still not found those documents.
Samuel had come to know that there might be a chance of them being in the canal house. And he wasn't going to give this chance to Jay.
But he had searched the entire house. Where could they be?
He made another round and decided to jog towards the backyard which was connected to the road that went out of Parker Town.
While jogging, he saw a figure standing on the slightly higher ground in the backyard.
He jogged towards the person and realised that it was Maria. Her back was towards him so she couldn't see him.
He was about to walk towards her when Jake's voice echoed in his mind.
' Don't get involved with her. '
He stood there contemplating and ended up walking towards her.
As he approached her, he saw what she was standing in front of.
