Jake arrived infront of Parker mansion. The guards stopped him from going inside.
" Do you have an appointment, sir? " The guard asked politely.
" I am here to meet Mr.Samuel. " Jake replied.
The guard looked confused, " There is no one named Samuel here. "
" The person that came with Mr.Parker. I am here to meet him. " Jake calmly explained.
The guards looked at each other before they went inside to ask about Jake.
Soon they came back and let him inside. He parked Samuel's car and went out.
Hearing the sound of a car, Maria and Sarah stood up from the bed and looked out the window.
They saw Samuel hugging someone before his face came into view. Sarah immediately gasped and nudged Maria with her elbow.
They looked at each other before going out.

" So you passed the first stage, huh. " Jake said with an amused smile.
Samuel smiled, " This is just the start. There's much more difficult things awaiting for us ahead. "
" But are you sure about this? " Jake asked with a concerned voice.
" What do you mean? " Samuel looked at him keeping one hand on the car and leaning on it.
" You got involved with his daughter. That's what I mean. " Jake crossed his arms.
" What about her? " Samuel raised his eyebrows.
" You like her. I know. " Jake replied with a frown.
" I don- "
" Yes. You do. " Jake exhaled a sigh, " I saw it in your eyes. "
Samuel remained silent. It was true. He had developed feelings for her.
Jake weakly smiled, " What you're about to do is going to hurt the both of you. Stop before you make any mistake. The one you're against is her father. "
Samuel nodded, " I won't involve myself with her. "
They both stood there without speaking anything. The silence was broken by Sarah.
" Hello, Jake. " Sarah said with a grin.
Jake smirked in response and gave her a nod.
Maria eyed Samuel who was avoiding her gaze. Jake broke the eye contact with Sarah, " Ms.Maria, your car is at Samuel's house. We will return it once it gets repaired. "
" Thank you. " Maria smiled.
Jake smiled back and gave a hug to Samuel. He patted Sarah's chin slightly before leaving.
Sarah blushed from his action. She saw Maria and Samuel staring at each other taking it as a cue to leave.
" How have you been? " Maria asked coming closer to him and standing right in front of him.
" Great. " Samuel said thrusting his hands in pockets.
" So what do you have against my father. " She sarcastically smiled.
Samuel's eyes became wide before an amused expression came on his face.
" You are sharper than your father and brother. " He raised one eyebrow.
" Be careful. I have my eyes on you. " Maria said with a serious tone.
He chuckled, " I would be honoured if you keep those beautiful eyes on me. "
" So you approached me with the intention of getting close to my father. " Maria frowned.
" I didn't knew about you being his daughter. " He stated.
" And you expect me to believe that? " She raised her eyebrows.
" If I had known, I wouldn't have asked you about the pictures in your apartment. " Samuel gave her a small smile. " It was a coincidence, " He took a step towards her, " and maybe fate. "
She gazed at him with narrow eyes before turning around and left.
Samuel watched her leave before he frowned, ' I didn't want you to get involved. I'm sorry. '

Sarah stood at the entrance of garden watching the scene unfold.
" So much tea. " She nodded.
" Right! " Jake said from behind.
She flinched and turned around, " You scared me. "
Jake laughed and looked inside the garden, " They are both in love. "
" I know. And we know that your friend there is an enemy of Mr.Parker, " Sarah placed a finger on Jake's chest, " But remember, its not his fault if a company faces bankruptcy because of him. So it would be better for you to keep your revenge to yourself if you don't want to get hurt. "
She flipped her hair and went to sit in her car.
Jake let out a breathy laugh, " It would have been better if it was a simple revenge for money. But its much more than that. "
He looked back inside the garden before leaving.

The boy was sitting on his knees in front of Jay. His face was bruised, his legs were shaking.
" You were responsible for keeping the cars in best conditions, right? " Jay spoke with an angry tone.
The boy looked up with teary eyes, " I-I checked, everything with Mr.Mark. "
A punch landed on his face, " I don't care about that. My daughter was injured. "
The boy couldn't stand up. Jay rubbed his forehead before saying, " You are fired. "
The boy immediately looked up, " Sir, please. I am about to get married. I have been working with you for 10 years. Please. " He choked on his tears.
Jay replied, " I don't care. Its not my problem. " He left from there.
The boy sat on his knees. He felt numb. What was he going to say to his in-laws? Would they call off the marriage if he told them about losing his job?
" Life is unfair to some people. " He let out a bitter chuckle.
" True. " A voice caused him to stand up and look towards the entrance of the garage.
" Life is unfair but if we try hard, we can take control of it. " The man replied.
The boy kept staring at the man. He carried an intense aura. He had sharp eyes, his gait confident.
" Do you want your life to be fair? " The man brought his hand forward.
The boy looked down at the extended hand then back up at his face. His heart told him to go for it. He had lost his job, but he couldn't lose the love of his life.
He shook his hand. The man smiled and signalled him to come.
" What's your name? " The man asked.
" Brian. " The boy replied.
" Nice to meet you, Brian. My name is Jake Lee. "
