Jay sat there, upright, face stoic. The door on the other side of the transparent glass opened and in walked a man of short height, a scar on his right brow.
The moment his eyes landed on Jay, a sickly sweet and annoying smile graced on his face irritating Jay.
" Oh my, look who decided to show up. Did you miss me? " The man said while his hand cuffs were being opened by the officer.
" You have ten minutes. " The officer spoke before sitting at the desk beside the door.
" It won't even take that long. " The man replied while taking a seat in front of the glass.
" So how are you, almost brother-in-law? " He tilted his head.
" I am not here for pleasantries. I will get straight to the point. What is the meaning of this, Nile? " Jay asked holding the paper that he found at Nancy's apartment.
" A piece of paper. " Nile replied nonchalantly.
