Samuel and Maria were walking side by side back to the mansion.
" Why didn't you tell your father about me? " Samuel asked curiously.
" I was going to, but seeing what kind of person he is, I decided not to. He has dealt with many enemies before, he can deal with another. It doesn't concern me. " Maria said with a bitter tone.
Samuel was surprised by her tone.
" Do you....hate him? " He asked with hesitation.
" No. Yes. Both I guess. " She sighed.
" He has been a great father to me and I love him. But the way he treated Mom and Mark is something unforgivable. She was his wife. Even if he didn't love her, he could respect her. She deserved that much from him. And Mark is his own child yet he treats him like a slave. Even if I love him, I won't tolerate him doing such things. " Maria said in one breath.
Samuel was filled with even more disgust for this man.
" So what will you do? " He halted and looked at her.
She turned to face him.
" About what. " She stared at him.
" You know about me and my intentions. What will you do in this situation? " Samuel looked everywhere except her eyes.
" I will keep myself away from you both. I will return to my job in the city in a month. So whatever happens with you two has nothing to do with me. " Maria replied and went back inside the mansion.
Samuel watched her leave.
' I think you are going to get caught up in this mess too ' He thought.

Mark was glaring at his father.
" Why can't you be a normal father to us? " He spat at his father.
Jay simply rolled his eyes, " I do whatever I want to do. Get that through your head. You can eat. I am not hungry anymore. "
With that he stood up and went to his study.
Mark clenched his fists.
" Crystal, go back to our room. I will send dinner for you. I am going out for some fresh air. "
Crystal nodded and went away.
Mark banged his fist on the table and went to the backyard.
He saw Maria and Samuel talking to each other. He decided to go to them.
But what he heard confused him.
' Who is Samuel? What is his relationship with Dad. ' He thought.
He pulled his phone out and called his secretary.

Samuel woke up to his phone blowing up with notifications.
He fished it and opened one eye to look at it. The message he saw on it caused him to jump and sit up straight.
-Sam, Mr.Kim is coming to Parker Town to meet you. Someone told him about your whereabouts. He is angry-Jake.
" Shit. " Samuel immediately got up and went to the bathroom to get ready.

Daniel arrived in Parker Town and decided to go to Parker mansion to meet Maria.
As he neared it, he could see unfamiliar cars there.
He shrugged it off and went inside.
Maria had just gotten up and she heard of his arrival. She was furious. She stomped her feet and marched towards the living room.
Daniel was greeting Jay when she entered.
" Maria- " Daniel started but got cut off.
" What the f*ck are you doing here? " She yelled at him.
" Maria, this is not a way to talk to your fiancé. " Jay warned her.
" He is not anything to me. He broke the promise. I only asked one thing and that was no cheating. Now I don't want anything to do with him. " Maria spat back and motioned her hand towards the exit.
" Leave immediately. " She glared at him.
" He is not leaving and we are solving this issue right now. " Jay said and asked Daniel to sit.
Maria was fuming at this point.
" We are not solving anything. You want to increase your business, do it, but keep me out of it. " She turned to leave.
" You are not going anywhere. " Jay ordered, " Sit down. "
Daniel smirked while Maria looked at her Dad in disbelief.

Samuel went to the main entrance and called the guard.
" Yes, Sir. " The guard gave a polite nod.
" Mr.Jake will come here with some people soon. Let him in. "
" I will. Sir. " The guard bowed and left.
As soon as Samuel entered the mansion, he heard Maria yelling at someone and decided to check it.
" I will not sit down and talk to him. You can talk to him as much as you like. " She said bitterly.
Samuel went inside.
" Is everything alright? " He asked Maria without paying attention to any other person sitting there.
Before Maria could reply, Daniel stood up from his seat.
" You. What are you doing here? " He said furiously.
Samuel diverted his attention to him and a knowing smirk came on his face.
" Nice to see you too, Mr.Daniel "
