The crystal mage softly trailed a finger among the edge of the blade making sure that the thickness was proper. Once he felt the differences he pulled out a very small chisel and started to tap away at the uneven places.
Walker copied his actions and found that the blade portion of the crystal sword shape was much rougher than he had expected. The entire left side was ridged and had a very uneven feeling while the right side was smoother with only a few spots that needed work. The way the crystal had broken at first had helped out one side while making the other worse.
