Chapter 5 - Chapter 4

Next day

"Something happened to Nathan, he is nowhere to be found." Until we find out what's happening to him, I'm taking the reins, "Sister Natha said.

- Did he have a hard time with anyone? Someone might have taken it away? Or maybe he just drank too much at the meeting yesterday and is still sleeping? Although it's not his style ...

- Exactly, you drove him from the meeting yesterday. You saw him last, 'said Math to the shofer.

Shofer was slightly worried, he thought no one knew that he was driving his boss away from the meeting yesterday.

- Well, yes ... I took him home and left him there ... Then I did not see him - The driver tried to speak confidently, but it did not quite work out.

- So you don't know what might have happened to him? Ethan asked.

- I have no idea - said the driver - leave me alone. Instead of fucking you better go looking for him. Ride!

The friends broke up, but they were a little surprised by Shofer's behavior. Math decided to inform Jackson (Nathan's cousin) about the incident. Even though he was told that he could only call this number in truly exceptional circumstances, he dialed it and said:

"Hi Jackson, sorry to bother you, but something strange has happened." Nathan, he's gone somewhere. We had an appointment with him and he didn't come, Shofer Bain came instead and told us that he was taking his place now. It seemed a bit strange to me, because he was taking him home last night, and when we asked him about it, it was kind of… strange. As if embarrassed. I just wanted to warn you and ask what we should do, listen to Bain until Nathan is found, or can he make someone else his deputy?

Jackson thought for a moment, then replied:

"For now, listen to him, but keep me informed of his movements." And tomorrow I will meet him and find out what's going on.

"Okay," said Math, then ended the call.

Jackson was also a bit concerned about the situation, especially as he knew Bain's character and knew he was capable of anything. He thought to himself that although he was a good killer, it might be a mistake to hire him. If only he didn't get into trouble.
