The car ride was silent until Edmund decided to break...
"Why do you want to work in Davis?"
His sudden voice made her jerk a little but she tried to manage it not to show him her nervousness..
"Huh?.. because it is the dream work for all..and mine too...it's famous so.. yeah..that's why I want to work here"
"What did you do before working here?"he asked turning his view towards the window.
'Is this man serious..I didn't even begin my work and'
Her thoughts cut off when he asked "Are you going to ignore my question?"
"N-no sir .. I'm sorry sir I got lost in thoughts...I worked my part time jobs"
"Oh! Yeah I remember that you got fired after working for fifteen minutes..right?" This sentence from his mouth made her eyes widen and her saliva choked down..
"yes sir" she let out an nervous chuckle.
After that to interrupt their conversation Edmund's phone started vibrating .. he took his phone and checked for the screen to see the name of the caller and that's the moment when his calm face turned to a disgust..
He denied his call and kept it the seat and stared at the window...
Again the phone started buzzing without even looking at it he knew who calls and again he does the same... Once ... Twice... And so on..
Emily ignored the constant irritation by the tone of the phone that rang every thirty seconds and peeked out to admire the morning..

"He must be on his way! That's why he's not picking up the call! Don't worry honey.. he'll be here"
Edmund's step mother tried to manage the anger that could be felt even miles away.
The girl clenched her jaw as her face turned pale red matching her short tight knee length dress.
'How dare he? He's ignoring my call?!' she thought.
She felt a hand on her shoulder gripping "Calm down.. he still have a long way with us.. don't mess up now!" A smooth yet devilish stern voice appeared on her left side.
"That's the only reason I'm holding back my anger..or else I would've killed him years ago." her gaze darkened.

"Mrs. Davis where's my beloved son-in-law?" A voice appeared as he stepped down from the stairs making his way to his chair.
"Good morning Mr. Williams! He's on his way"
"Good then! We can wait for him.. I want to see him soon!"

Meanwhile..
Emily widened her eyes as she could see a mansion in from of her and the surrounding filled with trees and plants with beautiful flowers... A big fountain in the middle of the garden with birds drinking water and the butterflies around the garden gave the most dazzling view.
Edmund got out of the car putting the buttons of his blazer and made few steps ahead and turned his head to look at Emily who's enjoying the view in front of her... Seeing her amazed made him to smile unknowingly and stared at her like she's the one and only left in the world with his small gentle smile...which is rare than seeing dinosaurs.

At the terrace the girl standing Gazing at them with a soul piercing look and clenched her fist that it become almost pale
"So you dare to smile now?! It's too bad..cause I hate your smile and I'll make sure to destroy it."
Her gaze travelled to the girl looking around ' isn't she the girl I met in the mall..what the hell is she doing here?' her eyes kept staring at them with a killer look.

Edmund realising that he's been staring her and shook his head once keeping his face in front looking at the door that is ready to welcome him "Aren't you coming?"
Emily snapped to reality "Yes sir.. after you."
Edmund turned to face her "Didn't I tell you to stick with me?" He raised his eyebrow placing his hands on his pockets.
"Huh? Oh.. yes sir!" And she made her steps towards him and kept her eyes to the floor.
Edmund smiled softly and turned his body to move forward to the door that's been waiting for long for his arrival.

He entered the mansion followed by Emily just behind his back and he stood at the place making Emily to hit her forehead on his muscular back.
Emily lifted her head to look at the thing that hit her forehead even she knew who's standing in front of her.
Edmund tilted his head to the side looking at the her "Look forward when you walk! Don't keep your eyes on the floor like you lost something! Ok!"
Emily looked up catching her breath due to nervousness hitting her hard "yes sir".

"Oh.. My favourite is here.. it's been a long time Ed" Mr. Williams
hugged him.
"It's been a long time Uncle" he hugged him back.
" Who's this beautiful lady standing here?" he asked looking at the nervous Emily standing like a lost child.
" It's my personal secretary.. She's new"
Emily smiled as he smiled at her
"Make yourself home Ms..?"
"Uh.. I'm Emily Geordan"
"Oh.. Ms . Geordan.. please come in don't stand there all alone" she smiled gently and followed him and her boss..

"Baby you are here! Oh. . I missed you so much!! You are so late... You look so pale .. Did you eat your breakfast honey?" The girl ran down from the stairs and held Ed's arm like a kid tugging around and started whining like a innocent kid.
Edmund held her wrist that's holding his firm arms and pushed her away with a stern look .. because he knows..behind her fake face she have a devil and he knows that.
"Don't touch me!" He gritted his teeth and turned away.
Emily's eyes again became like golf ball as she see the woman standing in front of her showing her perfect side profile
'Isn't she the great crystal?'
Crystal didn't even care about what Ed said and keeps on nagging him with her stupid whine ..
Crystal got a clear view of the girl standing near the entrance but decided to ignore her.
Edmund stopped his movements and turned to look at Emily who's standing not knowing what to do and pushed crystal away and made his steps towards Emily..
"Why are you standing here? Come on let's go." Held her small soft hand inbetween his big hand and dragged her gently along with him.
Crystal stood there keeping her hands across her chest and glared at the both as they both made their way in ignoring her.
Crystal joined them from behind and grabbed Emily's hand to push her away in a harsh manner.
Edmund noticed her and grabbed Emily to push her against his chest and held her gently while sending death glare to crystal.
Emily's eyes widened due to shock from Ed's sudden action that almost made her heart jump out from her chest.
A hand held Edmund's shoulder and made him to look at the person standing behind him..
"Long time my dear friend.." a voice which Ed hates the most in the world.
He looked at the person releasing Emily from his grip and clenched his jaw and pushed his hand away harshly.
"Don't you dare touch me!" He said with a stern voice and made Emily to stand behind him still gripping her soft hand.
"Oh! You got me a beautiful gift...I like it!" That person said glancing at Emily who is hiding herself behind Ed's broad shoulders keeping her head low looking at Ed's hand that held her hand.
Soon after realising the voice of that person she looked at him and her heart started beating fast due to fear and her eyes become wide confused to look at the person..
' Isn't he the one who I met with James ..the person who made me tremble... what's he doing here?' her thoughts interrupted by Ed's voice.
" No one is yours.. if I buy you something that'll be your death.. don't you touch what's mine! Understand Andrew!"
"How sweet..to hear my name from my dearest friend...or should I say my beloved brother-in-law!"
'Brother-in-law? If he's his brother in law then crystal must be his fiance!!!' Emily's head started thinking alot while holding a terrific face ' What have I got myself into?'
Edmund and Andrew standing straight opposite to each other while Andrew plastered his face with evil smirk and Edmund curling his fingers to form a fist while his clenching jaw showing his perfect jawline holding Emily who's looking at the person standing opposite to her.
Crystal enjoying the view with holding her hands across her chest with a devilish grin on her face..
