It looks like I'm looking myself at a mirror....
What's this weird feel ...
And....why does my eyes keep on staring her???
Unknowingly my legs made my way towards her where she's standing.....
Why???
When I was 10 steps closer to her I felt buzzing in my pocket ...my phone was vibrating..when I took out to see the caller id "Dad!!"
I immediately picked up the call and started conversation "yeah Dad...."
"Sorry Boss ..but he is admitted in the hospital due to his sudden heart attack ....I'm afraid boss you have to come here...He's asking for you" the other person on the call said.
After hearing the word heart attack my eyes widened and without even taking a glimpse at her I ran towards the elevator and rushed towards the parking lot and took my car and drove in the maximum speed.
Dad...the only relationship I have in this cunning world...what would I do if something happens to him....these thoughts keeps on playing in his mind.
After 15mins of traveling he reached to the hospital. Dad is being admitted in the vip ward. I knocked the door to gain permission to enter and eventually I did enter. My eyes got soften by seeing my father connected to many equipments....it's not all new to me ...but.....somehow it did tear my heart.
I reached near the bed and called out for him "Dad...are you okay? How are you doing now?"...
"I'm fine Ed but it still hurts here" he said and pointed his chest. He hold his dad's hand and caressed "Don't worry Dad you'll be okay.... Just stay strong and stay with me...yeah.." a weak smile aroused in his face and nodded "I'll try my best to stay with you my son".
Suddenly I heard the doors opening and clearly heard the heels sound that reached me....
"Well..well..well... isn't this my handsome son..!."the voice from that lady who I hated a lot and still hating it. I slowly turned my head with an arrogant look and stared straight into her eyes soon her eyes ignored my stare and looked away "yeah.... isn't this my so called step mom!!.." I said sarcastically.
She was feeling ashamed by my comment and kept quiet while again I looked at my father.. He was about to say something that's when I heard the doors opening again .... This time it's more irritating to look at that person who bumped me in the hospital.
"James!!!! You are here ...come darling...come and look at your father" that lady said.
James is the one why I hate the siblings relationship at the most....
Yeah ....he is my step brother.
"Oh...you are already here!" James said to me as I kept looking at my father.
"So... now you are ignoring me?? Great" he said while I still ignored his presence. He came near to dad and I immediately stood up "sorry dad I have to go" I left without even looking back.
While I was on my way out the doctor who treats my dad called me out "Mr. Edmund Davis can I have a word with you?"
"Sure doc I'm all ears". He talked about few things about my dad's condition and after that I left for my home.

Back to Emily...
As I was looking and admiring at the moon I felt a different sense in my body it's like something new.... which I haven't ever experienced before..... It's ...like...I felt weird in a good way my heart raced for some unknown reason...which I can't frame words for that particular feel.
I felt someone is nearing me from behind as I could hear the footsteps a strange feeling hits hard. I kept staring at the moon as if I don't know their presence and suddenly I heard those footsteps running faraway
I turned back to look who that was...but I failed...cause the person already entered the elevator.

After few minutes I decided to go back to my room that's when I saw James rushing by removing his white coat. I tried to call him out but I thought he was in a rush and decided to decline my thoughts. Then I reached my room finally felt comfortable by lying in the bed at last I drifted to sleep.

I was completely drenched in sweat once again....soon I felt a person holding my hands in his hands.
