Damon nodded his head and raced out of the room.
He stepped out of the house. He decided against taking the car. This was something he had to do on foot. He couldn't really track her in a car. He made the turn to the toilet window. That was the best place to start. Her scent was still strong there and it pointed out exactly which way she had gone.
He looked up at the sky and saw that it was barren of any ornaments. There was no stars and worse no moon. It was as if the skies were mourning a lost partner.
The feel of the entire night felt strange. Damon was developing a bad feeling at the dept of his heart. He could feel that something was not right.
For some reason, fear slowly crept up his spine and made his heart pound faster than usual. He exhaled sharply and started to enter into the woods. Apparently, Alexia had gone this way.
