How to be grateful for a tough life

Most movies we watch can make us believe that life will always be on this sequence - easy-tough-easy. Of course every start of a new story would be a calm sea. It seems like there would be no storms to get through. But what we don't know is, that calm and at ease ocean is prepping up a part of our life that would make us grip a little tighter. Question would be, are we prepared as well if that time comes? Is there something stronger than us that we can hold on to? I might say that life is really difficult, because there is no such thing as easy life. There will always come a time that will shake us a little or maybe even more, whether we are prepared or not. It doesn't matter, that is how life works.
