"Let's head out, Lisa should be waiting for us by now", Mr. Black said as he opened the class room door. We followed him and after a short stroll we saw a beautiful women with very mature features leaning against the wall of the school building. As soon as she noticed us, she approached and said: "Hello students, my name is Lisa, Lisa Violet. But don't bother calling me Ms. Violet, just call me Lisa. I was adopted by the Violet family because of my great control over celestial energy. That's why I'm not used to such formalities. Anyway, nice to meet you all. Don't inconvenience yourself starting an introduction, I already know all your names as I will be the magic teacher for the first years. Today I will help you figure out your subtype, so let's start right away with you, Emilia. By the way, this is more of a test rather than an actual lesson."
She told us to stand back and Emilia to come forward to sit on a wooden chair. Lisa herself sat down right across her and made Emilia put both her hands forward. "Now I will touch you with both of my hands and slowly start to infuse celestial energy into out. It might hurt a little, but that is a normal thing for the first time. But if you feel very uncomfortable, just tell me and we will do it slower. Usually the process takes less time with more energy but some hybrid can't take the energy in too fast", she explained as did as she said and started with the infusion.
After five minutes their hands started glowing faintly and Emilia was in noticeable pain but she didn't want to stop. "Don't worry, this is over soon", Lisa comforted her and with a bright flash the light changed its colour to a greenish tone. Lisa let go of Emilia's hands and said: "Congrats, you are a healing subtype. You should be able to feel the celestial energy in your own body now and with a little training you should be able to control it around your body. Once you are able to concentrate the energy in a certain body part, like your hands for example, you are able to heal others wounds. The better you get with your energy control, the more you can heal this way."
"Don't worry that still doesn't mean you have to be a healer. You can choose your own training type and become a swordsman. A healer becoming a swordsman isn't unheard of as most of them can use their ability to heal themselves while fighting. If you get enough control, you can also buff yourself with your celestial energy to improve your strength and speed which will make you a fearsome opponent. But all of that will take a lot of training", Mr. Black started explaining, further showing his vast knowledge.
"Fine now you can come forward, Ivan. As for you, we might not see any results but that is just a common thing that happens with your subtype because most of you always display your powers in passive form. But we can still give it a shot", Lisa explained while letting Ivan do the same stuff as Emilia right before him.
It seems like celestial energy doesn't differentiate between angels and demons with Lisa being the only teacher here. Both angels and demons can awaken the powers of each other.
Lisa and Ivan were sitting there hand in hand for a while and shortly before Lisa stopped I could see a small flicker of light. Lisa let go of his hands and said: "Sorry Ivan, there doesn't seem to be any other celestial power in you but you might awaken one, once you train yourself hard enough."
"Bu- But I think I saw a very faint flicker", I said interrupting Lisa.
"Oh my, you seem to have good eyes. Maybe Ivan has some dormant powers than which even I couldn't see", Lisa said turning in my way.
"Nonsense, she is probably just imagining stuff. If even you can't see it, Lisa, then nobody can" Mr. Black said and hinted Lisa to go forward with me test.
Ivan stood up and let me take the seat. Lisa put my hands in hers and asked: "Don't worry, he's grumpy most of the time. Did you see something when I did the test with Emilia?���
"Yes, it was way brighter than Ivan and there was also a flash and then the light turned greenish", I told Lisa explaining what I saw just a couple minutes ago.
"Interesting, you certainly have very good eyes. You know, humans and most hybrids can't see what you saw there. That is something only hybrids with very good control over their celestial energy can do and even for them it's very hard. They have to infuse their eyes with celestial energy to be able to see the energy roaming around in the air. But you seem to be able to see it without any of that, certainly very, very interesting. You might be able to become a great mage one day" Lisa told me while taking a glance at Mr. Black.
"Was she implying something to him?" I thought to myself but just nodded to Lisa so she could start the test.
"Anyway, let us begin", Lisa said and started with the celestial energy infusion. I immediately felt very warm in both of my hands and this feeling was getting stronger and stronger. It even moved more and more towards the centre of my body till both sides connected. As I was holding her hands I took a look at Lisa and was astounded as she looked even more beautiful up close. She had long blond hair and angel wings on the back just like Emilia but her maturity gave her a certain charm. Her hourglass figure just further added to the effect. I hoped that one day I would grow up into a beauty like her.
We sat there for over ten minutes and I started to sweat a lot from all the heat that built up in my body but there wasn't any sign of a light or even a faint flicker. After five more minutes Lisa decided to give up and told me: "Maybe you aren't ready for it yet. Most hybrids can use their celestial energy at an age of 6 if someone guides them but some have to mature further up to an age of 16. Don't worry, this isn't something bad, it just means your body isn't ready for it yet. Just come and look for me every couple weeks and we can do the test again to see if you are ready", Lisa calmed me down.
I decided against telling her that I felt something as it didn't seem to be important to me and because I grew wary of Mr. Black.
"For now you better focus on swordsmanship or other weapons you want to learn. You can improve your skills with them without any need for your celestial energy", Mr. Black said.
"Anyways, now at least two of you know more about yourself, which is a great success rate in my eyes. Let's head back to your dorm, you got school tomorrow. Tomorrow you will learn more about how this school functions in the morning and you will get to try yourself with different weapons in the afternoon". Mr. Black further explained.
"Well, this just sucks", I thought to myself while heading back to the dorms together with Ivan and Emi. Emi seemed to have opened up a bit, as she was talking about what she wanted to learn tomorrow the entire way back.

Lisa and Mr. Black however didn't follow us and went to another room together with a bunch of other teachers for a certain discussion.
