Rather than going towards the school building or the dorms directly, I decided to take a detour. There were far more guards around the whole campus than when I left, but the way they were positioned implied that they didn't intend to protect the facility. Instead they looked like they wanted to keep something inside rather than outside. And that something probably included the students of the school, as well as my friends.
I didn't have to be too sneaky, all the guards were far too busy to notice me. At least I naively thought so. It took only a matter of minutes, before I heard a voice behind me.
"Stop right there. Where did you get this transport lizard from? You were trying to escape, weren't you? Explain yourself!"
