After having talked with Lisa, I went back to my room. By now the sun had already set, we spend quite a while in the library. I wanted to immediately go to sleep, so I could be in the best condition possible for tomorrow's journey.
I wondered what Lisa would come up with, since taking an ordinary carriage would easily take a week and a half to around two weeks. That of course strongly depended on how many incidents happened on the journey, nothing happening was very, very unlikely and could be considered a miracle in itself. Although for most of the journey the carriage could follow the streets going from city to city, incidents still happened there as well.
There was also the faster option of going directly without taking the regular roads, but this couldn't be accomplished with a carriage at all. Those simply needed a flat road to travel else they would likely break down on the way, possibly delaying the journey more than by the time saved from going off road.
