And so I told Lisa what I had assumed so far, that Mr. Black probably is on a secret mission and is doing quite well for himself. But the more I talked about it, the clearer it became that I was being a bit too delusional, especially after what Lisa had told me already. It felt like I finally got the hints she dropped on me earlier.
Lisa listened closely at first, but became less and less attentive over time. Nonetheless she still let me tell her everything I had presumed about Mr. Black's situation, even though I myself began doubting my own assumptions.
