Chapter 32 - 32

It was a new day for us outside of New World. Society was still buzzing off the hype and excitement of the newly released game by ETHER as seen by many advertisements all over the place. In a busy cafe, we luckily found an open seat.

"I quit my part-time job."

Aria who is usually out during this time of the day was drinking coffee with us.

"Are you sure about that? We are not yet sure if the guild is really legit."

"It's not only the guild. It may not be the case right now, but I am earning more by playing New World in the duration I am working my part-time job. Our monthly rent has already been paid with the items I sold in the market alone."

It was quite an understatement how much you can earn with New World even at this early stage. Of course, you cannot earn a buck if all the equipment you are selling on the market is far from the strongest or unique ones.

The most expensive item I sold for was 15,000b$. It was a level 20 broadsword with decent additional stats. It was not that amazing for my standard. but it still sold well. That is how well I am earning through playing alone.

Meanwhile, Aria and Michelle both have a higher level than me and hunting mobs with higher levels than them. Imagine the price of the equipment dropped. It may not even be a Rare grade one and it will still sell well.

From the times I place an item in the market or simply checking for some items, the market was always as busy as the forums which may be the busiest site, excluding the mainstream social media. The strong can easily profit for this game with how much people are spending on it. There was never a game that could come close to the economy New World in how it affected in real-time.

A great example of that is us, three which are not exceptionally strong but still earning a decent buck.

"I second your decision. Look at this."

Michelle showed her newly bought phone to show her support for Aria's plan to focus on the game.

"My mama was surprised when I bought this phone myself. They even thought I was doing bad things to earn money since my parents are the only few people who don't care what is happening on the internet."

While they were busy bragging about the things they have accomplished using the money they have earned in New World, I remember what I should be discussing with them.

"Where do we go next? It will be the first hunt of us three."

"We can continue where Michelle and I left off, in Clouded Marsh."

"Is it possible to hunt there with only us three? I remembered what you said that the two of you along with three more was farming in that place. Are those three randoms?"

"The two of them were, while the other one was someone we found along the way and now a consistent party member of ours. His name is Barbeque Rooster. His weapon is a spear, so no need to worry of overlapping characters if we let him join."

"That name is familiar... I think he's in my friend list."

The first thing that I can recall when hearing his name was the bullying incident that happened a while back. I know the reason and the face of the perpetrator of it, but the only thing I cannot seem to remember is the face of the victim.

"What a coincidence. It's a small world after all. When and where?"

"I don't really remember. I think we met during the first day of New World. I can slightly remember what happened, but for some reason, I can't remember his appearance in any way considering I have only added a few people in my friend list."

"You're not wrong that he is nothing to write home about. I won't question why you can't remember his face because I also forgot his name when we party up the second time and the third time. Although he is quite decent in the fighting department. Nothing special, but he does what is needed to be done."

"Beside him, the other one who will be joining us will be basically some random we pick up."

"That sounds pretty much it. It was effective mostly for us."

That quickly summarize how both of them survive during the time I was alone in a torturous grind in Moonshire. Now that they mention it, I suggested something that would solve this minuscule problem.

"How about we find someone in our guild. It's much better than finding randoms."

"The guild? Finding a high levelled player will be impossible, but I think it is still a good idea. Time to use the functions of a guild, I guess."

Both of them seems convinced of my idea. With the plan done, we finished up what we were drinking before going in our separate ways. We will be back together in minutes anyway although now it is in-game.

...

I was the first one to login among our group-- Never mind, scratch that. It was actually Barbeque Rooster who was already playing when I logged in. I decided to check on him since he was in my friend list anyway.

[Barbeque Rooster Lv. 21]

He is one level above me. Not really surprising because he is going with those two. And speaking of the ladies, LadyQueen Blade then appeared beside me and soon followed by Michi Mochi.

Aria told us that she was going to the general store to buy some stuff, so we were headed there. She bought the same stuff I was buying and nothing is interesting about that. While she was busy with that, Michelle was messaging Barbeque Rooster to meet somewhere and party once again.

His reply did not take long. The only remaining thing to be worried about is the random member that will be filling our party.

I took the initiative to ask in the guild chat since everyone was busy. In an instant, numerous requests for an invite was thrown here and there in the guild chat. It might be because I am an Officer or my level, but little did they know that every Officer of Gold Paradise is in a single party.

'Maybe Richest Online can join'.

He is the only person who is on the level 20 category that was not part of our party yet. I tried asking him privately but only failed miserably because, in the first place, he was not online.

I do not know which to add, so I turned to Aria after she finished handling whatever she was buying. She said a tank will complete our party.

With that in mind, I was finding the one to fill up our party of that category. The highest level I can find was level 18. I was hoping for at least a level 19 since a few have already levelled up overnight, but none of them were tanks. Quite disappointing filler, yet nothing we can do.

Aria is done with her business and Barbeque Rooster should be here soon. All we need now is that guild member of ours which is also here in the city as what he messaged me.
