As the mystical pattern extended and spun like a void of pure energy with all ten of its petals seeming to reach out and try to claim shen. He stood still as a look of awe came over his face it was clear that this was something that only a collection of devine beings could have ever made. Shen felt his consciousness get pulled free of his body and it was enveloped by the dominating energies that were foreign to shen he felt the presence of yuan energy in only one of the petals. Shen was shown 10 scenes The first was of the elements that he knew and was brought up to accept as limited to only 4 but this scene should a man enshrouded by a cloud of all the elements. Shen could only stare as the scene before him shattered the belief that the control one could have over the elements was limited. The scene then changed as the elemental kaleidoscope washed over him and when it passed he was in a new place with a new scene it was a field of grass and empty space the thing in the field was ok one lonley person but wherever they looked with their eyes that would shine with an amber glow that was alluring to a dangerous extent if you looked to closely you would be lost in them but these eyes possessed a more meaningful power than just being a distraction where ever this person would look something would appear like a blurry outline of a building that isn't quite real and yet if you were to touch it it would be cool and solid the pieces conjured by these eyes seemed small and insignificant until at last after being built piece by piece a castle arose with wicked walls and jagged corners the walls were made of a material that seemed to swirl with many colors and it seemed to be durable and yet soft at the same time. This power was one of creation of a belief in ones work coming to fruition this power was ancient and forgotten by many but not by all for this power was the power of over coming the limitations of effort itself as this made effort practically unneccessary. His view then crashed against the walls of the castle at an astounding speed and shen was then shown the third scene. The third scene was one that made him lose his nerve completely as this scene was one of an army charging towards one man who only sneered as they approached weapons raised and gleaming as the last remaining rays of sunlight caught the blades edges and attempted to cling to this area that was being enshrouded by an inky blackness and the man who once stood alone now stood with a menagerie of nightmares from the demons with Blades as long as their torsos extending from where they should have had forearms and mouths that split in three directions as if someone had split their lower jaw with a sword and left the flesh to hang the beasts screamed out in voices like those of woman and children being slaughtered the sounds the beasts produced was terrifyingly real as if they were mimicking a sound they had heard before. The first beasts loped towards the soldiers whilst a second kind of a beast emerged from the inky blackness behind the first. The new approaching demons were lumbering giants that seemed to develop more with each step they took from the numerous arms that erupted through flesh and muscle on seemingly random parts of their bodies to the tails that were wrapped by exposed muscle pulsing and throbbing as it's end held an eye so that the beast could watch it's own back these beasts evolved with self preservation as the only intent they were built to terrorize and survive as they towered about 18 feet above the human soldiers who attacked the beasts with blasts of their own energy some flew above the war and looked down in horror as their comrades were quickly whittled down by the demonic presence and yet it was they who died first as from the sky which was now coated by the same inky blackness that surrounded them finally sealed off any chance of escape the sky became full of winged creatures that seemed like spiders but they had the wings of a scarab and their underbelly was their mouth and where their heads should have been only the eyes remained but they were not the eyes of a spider they seemed to be Gash marks that held within it a Crimson colored core that moved the way that a humans iris would move. It was these beasts that dropped from above and engulfed the flying cultivators whole and before shen could see the end of this battle one of the flying beasts opened the mouth full of jagged teeth on it's under belly and dropped down onto his view engulfing it just as he had watched them do to the flying cultivators and this was how he arrived at the fourth scene.
