Chapter 29 - Limited warranty

I own Razer Naga Hex v2. One night around two months ago I fell asleep while my laptop was on my lap. Around 4:30 AM I heard something hitting the floor and woke up. My laptop fell to the ground, and luckily it was fine. But my mouse had sacrificed itself to save my computer. The USB thing was bent, and the mouse didn't work anymore. Additionaly it also broke one of the laptop's USB ports.

So I sent Razer a letter through it website to maybe get it fixed or replaced, if the limited warranty covers damages like this. I got a reply. They told me they don't fix things like mice and headphones and other accessories like this. And that my limited warranty may have even been already expired. Note that I bought the mouse around 6-8 months ago (I don't remember the exact date, but I had and still have the receipt, where the date of purchase is shown). The limited warranty should last for 2 years.

But since they told me that they don't fix accessories then I decided to fix it myself. To say shortly, I did fix it, and it works just like before.

I haven't taken a picture of the 'fixed' mouse yet, but I did take a picture of it when it was broken. If you wanna see them, tell me. Also the messaging Razer took place a couple of days after I accidentally broke my mouse, but I fixed it 3 days ago. Ask me if you wanna know how I did it, I'll tell you in the comments.
