Video games are an art form. A good ass game has to have some many things go just right. The gameplay, art style, music and much more.
They can be literally anything. For education, for learning skills, for entertainment, and I could keep on adding stuff to this list.
The problem is that most people just can't see it. They keep using their outdated worldview, and rather be ignorant to the fact.
Technology evolves, and so should our views on the things it brings. Advancement of technology changes our culture. At first we had paintings and music, then we got pictures and movies, and now we have video games. But there will still be fools who reject the obvious facts.
