Dido and her mother, Thea Weyn, were the last white dragons of their clan.
The rest of her family had died in wars and the 1918 flu pandemic when she was a baby.
Thea was a military nurse and was always called in front of her leaving Dido in the care of her godmother Helix. As a child she took her place as her secretary, she learned many tricks and rubbed shoulders with the greats. Helix adored Dido and saw her as the daughter that she never had, to the point that she began training her to take the position of supreme fairy godmother one day.
She had a natural talent and in every story she entered she always emerged triumphant until she earned the esteem of all. Over time, her power as alpha began to manifest and Thea inherited her the title of successor early, in a private ceremony in front of the rishis. No one knew about that matter and they weren't going to reveal it unless Dido gave permission.
The dragons began to court her but she constantly refused and among them was Kurt Trudy.
But a dragon appeared out of nowhere and ended up winning her love. No one ever saw him and they only knew about him through Dido, who spoke wonders about her boyfriend. Curious gifts appeared and the intrigue grew to find out about said suitor.
She was about to agree to marry and one step away from her 90th birthday, when her mother's star's seal was stolen while they were away from home. She was desperate to find him nowhere, when Victorius and Laura knocked on her door.
They were responsible for the theft and offered to return it if she agreed to marry Kurt. Dido and Thea disgusted, they were going to denounce them for breaking the law of the dragons but Thea could not move and she writhed in pain when Laura began to torture the Weyn star. The Trudys had made a stellar chain of slavery that they took, from who knows where and the threats continued.
They had to accept the marriage in order not to lose their star. The union of both families was a surprise for everyone and Laura was in charge of spreading rumors to silence them by diverting suspicious glances. But the hatred and contempt that Dido felt was of such magnitude that she did not let Kurt approach her using the wrath of the dragon. Knowing about the phantom suitor, he locked Dido in the mansion to prevent her from leaving him, but it was useless, she was already pregnant with another dragon.
The insults, intimidation and humiliation did not stop, causing Laura and her other concubines to conspire to kill her for the simple fact of hating Kurt. Poisoned food arrived every day and in their carelessness, Dido spoke with her mother and her sworn sister, the Valkyrie Vera, about the child she was expecting and why she was allowing herself to die.
She told them that the father was a black dragon and that he had died a short time ago so that his celestial essence would be transferred to the egg. It turned out that he was the reincarnation of a potentially devastating ancestral star for anyone who dared to challenge him and since she was also a star, she had to die to find him again.
Thea had no notion and she preferred to die at her daughter's side than to feel the pain of her loss. Dido promised that they could reincarnate together, assuring her that the boy would survive against all odds until the day he awakened him true self to take revenge on the Trudys. Vera on her side, offered to be the one to bring Dido back into the world, making Rouben Spencer believe that he was the girl's father. With that in mind they decided to prepare to create a trap, they called Helix and Bernice to say goodbye and to announce about Dido's curse.
The Trudys were confident and blindly believed that Dido had not yet taken the succession so they ruled out the existence of a second jade scroll. Thea kept her will and that of her daughter along with the detailed facts to the rishis in the new scroll, leaving hers empty for her grandson to one day find in the family vault.
Rigel knew how to get there with the guidance of Scuti, who still held a grudge against the Trudys. He swore that he would give them deserved in her name in exchange for him letting him spend a week with her and Bethel. Scuti agreed and let him do what he wanted.
The whole room had a vein on their foreheads from the rage the Trudys provoked. Reading Thea and Dido's instructions, coupled with their dying wish that they destroy such a rotten bloodline, generated more hatred and guilt for not being able to prevent their deaths.
They demanded the return of seal, that they surrender the chains of slavery and confess where they obtained the taboo artifact. The Trudy brothers were unaware of their parents' actions as they believed that the treatment and death of the Weyn was due to other reasons and not to the use of prohibited material. Kurt was silent and located his ideas regarding his mother and concubines who, turned out to be homicidal psychopaths.

The audience was stunned. For a moment they thought they called off the fight but the next thing they heard left them paralyzed.
