Chapter 64 - You don't learn, do you?

Sonia and Leen were transported to the hospital while their husbands returned to work. Ross asked them to call him when the doctor finished with Sonia and bring them back with the watch.

Zedonia sent Sonia with a dragon specialist to help her see her progress and Leen had to accompany her for another reason that she did not mention to Ross.

Her period was two weeks late and the doubt arose from that moment. She took the opportunity to see the doctor when Sonia left the office. The surprise was immense and they did not take long to celebrate.

-I can not believe it!! Let me spread the news among my friends! -

-Not! Wait a bit, I don't want Ross to find out about gossip, I want to be the one who tells him first-

-That is unfair. Well, tell him when we get there so I can publish it to the four winds-

Sonia's desire to shout the news was increasing. Leen thought to discuss the matter with Ross when she would retire to the buffet. Sonia knew that her sister was afraid to tell the truth to her brother-in-law, so she had her methods to force her to speak and incidentally be the one to spread the gossip.

Ross brought them back and when Sonia was about to close the door to go back to her friends, she gave her a message that only Leen would understand.

-The girls will be happy now I'm going to tell them, so the best thing is to update you Eda. Bye! -

Leen flushed red with anger and Ross tried to calm her down with a hug. He thought that Sonia made her angry again for some stupidity. She suddenly started crying and hugging Ross tighter.

-Calm down, ignore her. You already know how Sonia is when she wants to bother-

-Rusty, it's not that. Today I also went to the doctor-

-What? You feel bad, you would have told me. Where it hurts- Ross got nervous and put his hand on Leen's forehead

-Give me your hand- she grabbed Ross's hand and put it on her belly

The silence worried him at first but when he saw Leen's smile he began to realize where the conversation was heading.

-It is not true!-

-Rusty, you're going to be a dad-

Without warning, he pushed Leen onto the couch and between kisses he wanted to be happier than he already was. Meanwhile outside, Sonia warned Brad not to enter and that she only let them know by knocking on the door when they should go with Joseph.

Upon hearing the news, Brad began to laugh and already visualized how exciting this Friday would be. His wife was quick and before the opening everyone would know that Leen and Ross were having a baby.

By the time they went out to see the wands handover, everyone had already heard about it. Ross was very proud to have kept his promise to Leen and stunned by the level of gossip of his sister-in-law. People in the corridors congratulated and greeted them.

The foreigners could not help but laugh at the idiotic face that Ross had and instead Leen, she was ashamed because her husband did not let go of her hand at any time and his intention to have her closer to him grew.

Pryor was staring out the window at the happy couple and, shaking her head, she assumed the entire Fox family lacked common sense. Adys and Cinthia tried not to laugh so as not to spit out their breakfast and they saw their companion shocked.

-Let's say they would become your grandchildren, or perhaps great-grandchildren. The Foxes have no remedy hahaha- Adys jokingly she wanted to get the bitterness out of Pryor

-If you say it. I could bet that those children will be more dangerous than their parents in the future and will give more problems ... ahh I hope to retire sooner-

Pryor was not wrong and even fearing for the future, she hoped that the children would not turn out as deranged and troublemakers as their parents.

On the other side, Leen kept receiving congratulatory messages and a call from her grandparents. They wanted to go to eat to celebrate the pregnancy of both and they agreed that they would meet in a week in the region of the hares. Aunt Maggie was already working on Sonia's celebration but she called to give notice about Leen and she caused more joy. Etoile was very happy and she would help with the preparations to learn about the traditions of her people.

Today was the last day for the fairies and they held a party in their honor when they finished presenting a commemorative medal to the winner of the tournament. Duna Crowford came in first place and the cheers did not stop. The vast majority of families came to see the final and to wish them a good journey. People cried and hugged each other because tomorrow they would be traveling to the different centrals of the world.

Those left behind would continue training alongside the new foreign recruits. Roman Quispe clapped from the stands witnessing the massive farewell, looking for Leen and Ross to invite them to Soleil. When he saw them they were surrounded by people congratulating them, so he gave up and preferred to wait.

When they were done, the cleaning guys began to set up and clean up the mess left behind by the crowd. Leen approached Susan to thank her for her help and handed her an invitation to the baby shower, in Peach&Lemon.

-You don't have to go if you don't want to, I just thought you'd want to have fun for a bit. It's going to be a disaster with so many people and you might not like it-

-Thank you, I'll go. Also, I still haven't given both of them a gift-

-You're right, you still owe me a gift lol- Sonia appeared with her friends and they all started chatting.

Brad and Ross watched their wives enjoy each other's company, as they talked about babies.

-Tomorrow we can go to Tottenham, I want to take a photo on the pitch.-

-About that, we won't be able to go tomorrow, I'm sorry. We will go to look for the collection, maybe on Sunday-

-Wait, they were supposed to be lost.-

-I remembered that my cousins had their separate collection in the royal library and I am going to recover them. After all, nobody uses them.

-In other words, you can go back there, and to loot. Wow ... can I go?

-Better ask your wife's permission before speaking, lest you end up punished hehe-

-...- Brad turned and began to mentally chat with Sonia

-Hey what are you doing? It was just a saying ..-

-She says there is no problem. We will go for a walk to see the place where you grew up.-

-That's why you are annoying and you always get in trouble. Hmm, ok, you prepares a bag and clothes that cover your appearance. There the dragons are not like you, they are like in the stories-

-Seriously, I want to meet them-

-You can't, they are legends and the last ones are retired resting in their burrows after fighting with me and my mother-

Brad's tail was wagging fast like a dog's, due to the excitement of going to a new place and learning about giant dragons.

Saturday arrived and they were about to embark for the library. They wore commoner cosplay and Brad was covered with a black hood and cape that covered his face and made him look like a mercenary.

-Hahaha I can't ... it's too much. You look like a bad thief.

-Shut up now. You were the one who suggested the costume.

-Enough fighting. Ross we are ready. Take us there-

They clasped hands and began to fade into iridescent light to reappear elsewhere. It was an immense library with furniture, shelves and sky decorated with gems and handmade paintings of angels and creatures from fairy tales.

The library was closed on weekends unless the king or his family wished to consult something in the books. The place was very quiet and Ross warned them not to make a fuss because there might be guards at the gates.

-Go around and if you see something that catches your attention, take it with you. I will look for the collection in the war section-

-You are giving us a free pass to steal, hooray! -

-Shhh! Stupid lizard, shut up. Sonia control it please- Leen was getting angry

-We'll see you here when we're done. Let's go-

Their journey began when they separated.
